Brake pads and rotors were not replaced properly on a Thursday. Bolts on calipers were not tightened correctly. Truck had to be towed back to dealership on Monday. Parts were ordered Monday afternoon to arrive Tuesday morning. I had not received any communication by 2PM, so I called the dearlership to check on status. Service advisor said it was completed and working on the paperwork. About 30 minutes later, service advisor called back and said it was not finished. The wrong parts came in and he was not informed of the situation. They reordered the parts for delivery first thing Wednesday morning. By 12:15PM, I had not heard anything, so I left a message with the Service Manager. Ten minutes later, I received a call from the Service Advisor informing me everything was checked and completed properly. I asked why no one had called to inform me the truck was done and ready for pickup?? Why did the customer (me) had to call? No reply. At a minimum, at least they could have cleaned and vacuumed the truck. More

Had to deal with call center to schedule service appointment, arrived for my service appointment and service area seemed to not have scheduled a slot for my vehicle to be checked out - like they wer appointment, arrived for my service appointment and service area seemed to not have scheduled a slot for my vehicle to be checked out - like they were not even expecting me. Waited four hours or more for rude service adviser with zero personality to come to the waiting area and simply throw an estimate paper at me that stated I needed a new engine… Only $9500! Or for $3500 they could put new piston rings in! That was it - he basically said nothing but those were the two options. Vehicle had a recall on it regarding engine piston rings and this dealership did not even try to educate me about this or even ATTEMPT to see if GM would assist me with this recall issue! Went to Carl Black GMC in Roswell and was perfectly taken care of with Service Manager actually reaching out to GM to see if they would assist with this older recall issue on my vehicle - he got them to help me out!! I will never be back to Jim Ellis for service or to purchase any vehicle! I had purchased a pre owned GMC small SUV just for our grocery-getter car and have owned around 36 vehicles (a dozen or so brand new) in my life and have never seen a service advisor with such poor customer service! More
