Started off iffy, but Doug saved the day. I didn't buy my Mazda at Jim Ellis because they didn't have the color I wanted. So I drove to a dealership that did. Turns out, they sold me a car wit I didn't buy my Mazda at Jim Ellis because they didn't have the color I wanted. So I drove to a dealership that did. Turns out, they sold me a car with open recalls and 4 bad tires (brand new car). I brought it to Jim Ellis and spent 3 hours waiting for them to figure out the issues. Needless to say, I had to go back the very next day because the first rep didn't do what he needed to do to get the issues resolved. Fast forward to Doug entering the picture. He has been amazing helping me get everything sorted out. He really has been very considerate of my time and safety. Thanks, Doug and Jim Ellis! I didn't do 5 starts because I had to come back...but Doug deserves the 5/+ starts More

Good experience My wife and I just bought a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L couple that was a recent trafe-in. The car was in immaculate condition and very reasonably priced. My wife and I just bought a 2009 Honda Accord EX-L couple that was a recent trafe-in. The car was in immaculate condition and very reasonably priced. The sales staff, especially our sales consultant Hilton Young, were all very nice and professional. We felt no pressure to buy the vehicle and were able to throuroughly test drive the car, even on busy I-75. We were presented with a price that was lower that the asking price so we had no hesitation in purchasing the vehicle. They even wahed the car and filled the gas tank. It was a very good experience. I woyld recommened Jim Ellis Mazda to anyone looking for a new or a preowned car. More

Worst possible experience buying a car I had the worst possible experience trying to buy a new car today (10/5). I had been there test driving a CX9 a couple months ago and then came back r I had the worst possible experience trying to buy a new car today (10/5). I had been there test driving a CX9 a couple months ago and then came back recently with my wife and she liked the car. I was ready to close my lease today and texted the salesman at Jim Ellis telling him the lease conditions that Toyota was offering for the Highlander and asking him if they could offer something similar. Salesman texted back with a similar offer that his manager Tos had approved ($252 per month, 2999 down). Tos called me to discuss as I had requested them to add a Carplay and he confirmed the terms, so I went there to close the deal and turned down the Toyota offer. We spent around 3 hours at the dealership, filed all the paperwork, they collected all my information, made me sign the documents, made me get proof of insurance and pulled my credit score. I was very surprised when they came back with a lease of 352 per month with 2999 down (100 more than what they confirmed via text message). The manager Tos was very rude saying that he had told me over the phone about the $352 (he didn't) and ignored the text I was showing him.. then he said I should have seen what Mazda was offering on the website (341/month) and realized the $252 was a mistake (really???). We had twin babies with us and he didn't have a problem yelling at us in front of our babies, so we asked him to give our documents back with our personal information and undo the deal. After that happened, he told us to get into an office and close the door (why?). We were very surprised when the finance manager very suspiciously ran away from the office with the documents we had signed and threw them in a locker, arguing he didn't have the key to open it. He didn't allow us to shred the documents (why?). Tos made us lose the deal with Toyota. I blame him and Jim Ellis for any misuse of our SSN numbers and personal information going forward. If this was a mistake (mmm...) they didn't even apologize for it, only yelled at us and at out babies. If you're getting a Mazda, get it somewhere else. More
