Ron Murphy and Chris Ehase went above and beyond to help us. All of our concerns were responded to and with confidence we came to the decision to trade up. We had questions about the towing capacity of ou us. All of our concerns were responded to and with confidence we came to the decision to trade up. We had questions about the towing capacity of our 2008 F150 to pull our 30 ft. RV. Ron showed us a 2010 F-150 that had upgraded towing features and Chris explained that Ford intentionally focused on redesigning the newer models to better handle heavy loads and towing. There were a couple of things we had on our check list of must haves, one of which was running boards and the truck was not equipped with any. The deal was sealed when they offered to put on new running boards of our choice and replace the slightly broken front grill after giving us a choice of models and touching up a couple of paint chips. I do think we made the right decision to buy this truck and I am very thankful for the time and attention the sales team at Joe Machens Capital City Ford provided as well as the Money Man, Matt Wilde. Matt was very thorough explaining the warranty and payment options available. I am also grateful that we were once again able to do business locally. I know if we have any issues come up I will be able to return to Joe Machens and they will be there to help. It was a pleasant suprise the next week to recieve in the mail a tin of chocolate chip cookies from Ron Murphy. Thank you Ron, they were delicious and shared with the story to everyone who stopped by to see the truck. More
I had come into the dealership for another reason but I was curious about my existing car's worth as it related to a newer vehicle because my car had 80,000 miles and my extended warranty expired in 20,000 was curious about my existing car's worth as it related to a newer vehicle because my car had 80,000 miles and my extended warranty expired in 20,000 miles. I approached Chris the sales manager as Judy who I had bought my last car from was busy. I asked him what mine was worth and he looked my car over and within 5-10 minutes had a deal written up which gave me a new car with an new 100,000 mile extended warranty. The new car had better miles per gallon than the old car and it was bigger with more bells and whistles. The price was at least 100 dollars less than I was currently paying.Chris said he needed my car and it was approaching the point where if I put to many more miles on it the price would go down this was an optimal time. I talked to my wife we agreed and made the deal Chris turned me over to Judy who got the car detailed and took me over Matt who did all the paper work with the 0% interest, extended warranty, taxes taken care of and all the stuff I needed to get the car licensed. Judy explained how all of the new stuff worked on the car including the hands free cell phone system. Matt explained all the things available and was okay with the things i didn't care for. Chris recognized even if I didn't that he needed to provide me the best deal quickly or I may have missed my best time to trade and that I might have to another dealership for a deal. So he recognized thru his expirience that the time wasnow and made the deal for his firm! Hence we are all very extremely with outcome! More
