We were in the market for a new-to-us vehicle, but weren't exactly sure what we were wanting, although we did have some basic ideas. Curtis Jahr was a gem as he helped us narrow down our decision. When we weren't familiar with a vehicle brand and wanted to test drive one, we would look online at available vehicles at mid-mo area Joe Machens dealerships and he would have a particular car brought to the Jefferson City dealership for us to test drive. We went through several vehicles during this process and he was happy to help us at every turn. We were encouraged to test drive for as long as we needed and to have our mechanic check the car over in order to get a good feel for it and in doing so we were able to figure out if a car was for us or not. When we realized a particular car was not quite what we wanted, Curtis was relaxed and ready to help us find another one to check out. He seemed to genuinely want us to find the right car for us. There was no pressure at all; no slimy sales tactics. Just a great relationship between salesman and customer. We enjoyed our car buying experience with Joe Machens Capital City Ford/Lincoln and most notable with Curtis Jahr. We finally settled on a 2012 Toyota Camry and have been very happy with it in every way. The purchasing experience with Terry Bradshaw went smoothly and effortlessly. I would highly recommend Joe Machens Capital City Ford/Lincoln for a used car purchase (as I only dealt with the used-car portion of the dealership). AND they had an Icee machine and we were able to drink FREE Icee slushies and other drinks which was just a nice little extra. :) We also received a nice box of cookies in the mail after our purchase.
