It was almost 80 years ago when, Karl Knauz the father of the current chairman, Bill Knauz, created the dealership that would bear his name for generations to come. Karl Knauz after years of being a chauffeur opened a gas station in Lake Forest. Did he imagine that this modest beginning would come to be one of the most recognized dealerships in the country. The franchises they have now, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Hyundai, smart have put their trust in the Knauz family, (with Mercedes-Benz going all the way back to 1959). They have weathered the good times and the bad, and done so by taking care of customer's using 'The Golden Rule".

Was searching for a certified Pre Owned BMW on line a found what I was looking for. I made an on line request for more information and was responded within a very timely manner. Spencer Parker was the sales associate who responded. He was very professional and made sure that all my questions were answered. I was an out of state buyer and wanted to ensure that prior to making the trip to the dealer that this was a good fit. It was well worth the trip! The place is the top of the line BMW dealership. Sam was even nicer in person when my wife and I got to the dealership. He is very knowledgeable and made the buying experience a pleasure. We were in and out of the dealership within 2 hours with a test drive and financing. I would also like to mention Scott Adduci (finance) who is very personable and honest (hard to find in car dealerships). Overall, the Knauz Group did a great job and earned a customer for years to come. More

Nice and easy I worked with Sam Picchietti to build an M5 from the factory and it couldn't have been easier. Sam was great to deal with. His knowledge of BMWs was I worked with Sam Picchietti to build an M5 from the factory and it couldn't have been easier. Sam was great to deal with. His knowledge of BMWs was simply amazing and he really went out of his way to help me throughout the process. Scott made the finance part quick and easy, and Brandon got me set up in the car to personalize everything and get me on the road. I had some concern about how I would take delivery of the car because of the circumstances with COVID-19, but Knauz had numerous safety measures in place that put my mind at ease and allowed this to be a thoroughly enjoyable yet safe experience. The team at Knauz really has it together! More
