It was almost 80 years ago when, Karl Knauz the father of the current chairman, Bill Knauz, created the dealership that would bear his name for generations to come. Karl Knauz after years of being a chauffeur opened a gas station in Lake Forest. Did he imagine that this modest beginning would come to be one of the most recognized dealerships in the country. The franchises they have now, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, MINI, Land Rover, Hyundai, smart have put their trust in the Knauz family, (with Mercedes-Benz going all the way back to 1959). They have weathered the good times and the bad, and done so by taking care of customer's using 'The Golden Rule".

Friendly Pleasant Experience Purchased an X5 from Bob in early February. My husband liked the car so much that he went back and go an X3 for himself. Bob gave us fair pricing on both cars and was very easy and helpful to deal with. Everyone we have dealt with at Knauz has been friendly. The free car washes are also a nice perk! More

A great place for BMW M enthusiasts I just took delivery of my new M4 this past weekend. The whole experience was done top-notch. My car was custom ordered with the help of Bob Geisheker I just took delivery of my new M4 this past weekend. The whole experience was done top-notch. My car was custom ordered with the help of Bob Geisheker and his BMW Genius, Sam Picchietti. During my decision process they took the time to show me different cars, (both an M235 and M4, 6MT and DCT) to help me decide which one was a good fit for me. Sam really took some time showing several different cars on their lot to help me decide what exterior/interior/rim combo looked the best. The BMW build your own tool doesn't show the paint or rims that well. Since I was ordering a build, I really appreciated the tips. If you're looking for a good BMW M oriented dealer who is willing to work with you, both on price and service, you should visit Knauz. More
