Great car buying experience had the 2024 CX 5 Carbon on the lot we've been looking for. The Sales Pro Alona is great to work with. Great knowledge of the product line. I had extreme anxiety. I had not bought a car in 20 years. I researched for months. I never impulse buy. The general manager and Chris were fair and worked with me. They made the initial process smooth.Chris showed me how to use the technology. I do have suggestions. When leaving customers, explain where you’re going, what’s happening, what’s the process they can expect. Explain what’s is consuming the customers time. People like and need to be informed. It shows professionalism, respect for the customer and helps decrease anxiety. I was there appx 4 hours. By the time I was signing paperwork I was reconsidering buying the car. Anxiety increases without an outlet. I almost walked out in the last 10 minutes. The warranties- if you want people to buy those, don’t put them in the hot seat. Give them options to consider after purchase option to buy them at discounted rates. People who put 20,000 grand down on a 40,000 car can afford to buy afterwards if you give them the option after they have time to consider it. More

The sales rep Sonny Nnaekpe was professional and knowledgeable about the features and technology of the 2024 CX 5 turbo premium (although he didn’t know that the apple car play now has touch screen knowledgeable about the features and technology of the 2024 CX 5 turbo premium (although he didn’t know that the apple car play now has touch screen functionality). He patiently explained the car details, connected my phone and adding my new vehicle on the Mazda app. The dealership however still loads the vehicles with high margin add-ons like door cup and edging, nitrogen tires, paint and fabric treatments, etc. They also indicate 3 years of free towing in the package which is actually from Mazda. Some people may value all of these but in my view many of these are of questionable utility. Fortunately, there was a vehicle there that I wanted that this package hadn’t been added yet. So I would rate Sonny 5 stars. The dealership is good to work with but because of this old school practice of adding all these extras I rate the dealership 4 stars. More
