If you're a woman, skip this dealership I found a great car on cars.com which was being sold by Kelly Volkswagen in Danvers. I immediately scheduled an appointment for a test drive and was prepared to drive the car off the lot that day. After a great test drive, we sat down to negotiate and I was told that the price was the price and they were only going to make $200 on the car, so they couldn't negotiate. I told them I would not pay full-price and needed a few minutes to speak with my husband about the decision. He and I agreed that full-price did not make sense, so the dealership let me walk out - totally fine, except they then proceeded to call my husband to negotiate. I was the purchaser of the vehicle; I spent 3 hours driving to/from the dealership; I was going to be the owner of the car. They were willing to negotiate with my husband but not me? It's 2018. That deal could have been done in 30 minutes and they would have had one less car on their lot. Shame on them for thinking that just because I'm a woman, they could get me to pay full price. I'll take my money to another dealership where they will happily accept my hard-earned money. More

Questionable Service Drop my car off for warranty work the night before. Early call the next day saying my car out of alignment. I never noticed that. Call late that day saying the warranty work can’t be complete for four days. Alignment report looks ok. Says “an alignment not performed” right on report. Invoice says “customer requests” to perform alignment. I think this is a scam. I think cars can be technically out of alignment but it is not enough to require an alignment. These guys can’t wait to tell You the car is out of alignment so unsuspecting people like me authorize them to fix it. More
