What awesome service! It took 3-4 tries to get it fixed. Not all repairs are easily diagnosed and repaired the first time. The best part though was that service agent and technician were awesome to work with. You hear horror stories of how dealers do this type of thing all the time. That they beat the customer up with one expensive repair after another. But my agent helped where he could and I never felt cheated or taken advantage of. Thanks guys. More

I almost always have a good experience at this dealership. The only issue I had was I went in and they told me my battery voltage was fine.. a month later I had to come in for a battery replacemen dealership. The only issue I had was I went in and they told me my battery voltage was fine.. a month later I had to come in for a battery replacement and was told my voltage from the last time I was there wasn't good and shouldn't have been passed off. I just wish they would have replaced it and saved me a trip instead of having me drive around with a subpar battery. More

Here is what happened: After all the indicator lights came on on my dashboard, I learned my car needed a repair that had to be done by a dealership. I was worried about the expense since dealerships charge more than my regular shop. I took the car to Ken Garff in Riverdale. When he first met me, my tech wrote down my VIN and soon told me the repair was under warranty. I was very grateful, so when he suggested I complete $1600+ of maintenance in addition to the warranteed work, I decided I would at Ken Garff rather than at my regular shop. The work took a full week to complete because the warranteed part was not in stock. I was a bit frustrated but understood that it was no one’s fault. I paid my bill and picked up my car, which seemed fully repaired. Several days later, my tech began calling me. He said my repair was actually not under warranty after all—he said my VIN was not in the batch of VINs included. He said I would need to pay for the repair after all, or at least for the part. I was baffled. The more I thought about it, the more I disagreed. He had my VIN at the time he told me of the warranty coverage, so he knew whether or not my car was included. I felt manipulated since I certainly would not have done the $1600+ in maintenance at the dealership if I had the other repair to pay for out of pocket too. I was already pretty unhappy with my treatment at this point, but then something happened to push things over the top. A couple of weeks after Ken Garff’s work, the indicator lights that had come on before came on again. Not wanting to deal with KG anymore, I took my car to a different dealership. What was wrong with it? A bunch of the parts that had been removed for the initial work had not been tightened down properly when they were (re)attached!! I am out more money for that mistake now, too, because I couldn’t even trust KG enough to return to have them fix the problem they caused through poor workmanship. Very disappointed! More

The Riverdale Ken Garff Honda is a good service center. Just like any dealer you typically pay more, but you know you are getting quality parts and service. Honda parts are typically more, and they have a reputation to live up to. I've had other brand name parts that didn't last as long and so back into the shop you go. If you can afford it or budget it, pay a little more. It will pay for it self in the long run. The shuttle service is very nice, especially if you have to go back to work or do other errands while they work on the vehicle. It's easy to call the shuttle and they come pick you up where they took you. The Honda shuttle feels safer when they drive, unlike other shuttle services. However, sometimes they are in a hurry and its scarry, but you are in good hands. More
