Advantage Care is a good plan and reasonable priced. Quick and Friendly service. Staff is knowledgeable. Only one issue was that one customer was not wearing a mask. I purchased my vehicle in October 2020 by December 2020 I was driving to work and my car overheated. Called the dealership and dropped my car off. I was told it was the coolant scensor and the advisor told m was driving to work and my car overheated. Called the dealership and dropped my car off. I was told it was the coolant scensor and the advisor told me that the mechanic had 30 years of experience and he was sure that was the issue. So I okayed them to move forward and fix it obviously I needed my car back asap to get back and forth to work and get my family around. They called me the next day and told me the scensor had been replaced but the car still overheated so they wanted to keep it overnight to make sure there was no air in the line and they would call me the following day to pickup. We were about 2 days in at this point. The next day (day3) I heard NOTHING so I called them to see what was going on and I was advised that they were unaware what was wrong with it and they would have to send the car to someone else but I had to pay for the sensor. After going back and forth I advised I was not paying for a sensor that did not fix my issue and they still tried to make me pay for the part but I stood my ground and they finally agreed that I shouldn't have to pay after I got my husband involved. So I told them to stop working on my car and I would pick it up and deal with it myself. I had originally taken my car there because I purchased the vehicle there plus the warranty they recommended. So here's what makes it all even worse. I took my car to a different automotive shop and guess what the issue was THE WATER PUMP!! Now how in the world can you not diagnose something as common as a water pump especially a mechanic with "30 years experience" I was baffled at this point and I have no faith in this dealership at this point. I won't even bring my car in for a simple oil change. I was just going to let it go and not leave a horrible review but since you have probably sent me atleast 5 emails at this point for a review here it is. Hope it helps make your other customers have a better experience because I personally do not plan on bringing my car in to Riverdale Ken Garf honestly probably never a Ken Garf period! More
