I brought my 2011 Tiguan in for an oil change and tire rotation. I signed an estimate for $103 for the repairs. After waiting 1 hour, the Service Writer Tony McCalla brought out an oil drain plug that was rotation. I signed an estimate for $103 for the repairs. After waiting 1 hour, the Service Writer Tony McCalla brought out an oil drain plug that was completely stripped of threads. Tony stated that they did not strip the threads and that I would have to pay for the replacement of the oil pan. Tony gave me a verbal estimate of $670 but did not provide an itemized estimate nor did I sign one. I disagreed with Tony and said that the drain plug must have been stripped by the technician working on my vehicle. An impact gun had been obviously used on the drain plug (I was an ASE Technician for 35years). I stated that I should not have to pay for the replacement of the oil pan. Tony refused to negotiate and said that if I did not get the repairs done, they would push my vehicle out and I would need to have it towed. I told tony that this was the only automobile I had. Tony said that they would have to order the oil pan and would not be in till the next day. I told Tony verbally to perform the repair. Tony finally agreed to provide a loaner. The next day tony called me and said the repair was done but the total was going to be $834. I checked Lakeland VW online parts. The oil pan MSRP was $215. The All data Labor Guide was 1.2 hrs to replace it. They were charging 1.9 hrs at $139/hr and charging me $238 for the oil pan plus $100 in other unnecessary parts plus the oil change. Tony again refused to negotiate and left me a voice mail threatening that if I did not return the loaner and pick up the vehicle by 6PM they would charge my credit card for the loaner. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this dealership for any kind of service. On a side note, I they never did rotate the tires. Also, I filed a complaint with the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Don't bother with that either, they don't do anything except contact the dealership with the complaint and the request for satisfying the complaint. If the dealer does not reply back nothing is done other than the complaint is on record with the State of Florida. Check it out the case # is 2112-45634. More

She’s incapable of telephone calls and pushed me off on Anthony in finance who was even more inept than she was. Tried calling Jared Diveley, the GM twice, even left messages about my dissatisfaction and he never phoned back. I had money in hand ready to purchase and not a single person phoned me back. Welcome to the lazy Florida way of doing business. Reported them to the BBB. More
Our saleman, Anthony, was very down-to-earth and funny! He made the entire process a lot less stressful than it could have been. He made the entire process a lot less stressful than it could have been. More
Im not satisfied or happy with how this dealership treated my deal. First of all I went and never got treated with enthusiasm nor got tang kind of information on the vehicles on the lot. I found the treated my deal. First of all I went and never got treated with enthusiasm nor got tang kind of information on the vehicles on the lot. I found the battery on my vehicle was old, battery was from 2019 (old battery’s are a safety issue) I asked the sales guy to please check to see what could be done and he never gave me an update or anything he just avoid my concern. Second the brakes (rotors) were damaged. They told me vehicle had went through inspection but the brakes were warped ! Making loud noises when driving! If all of this things were avoid while the vehicle was put through inspection I wonder what other things were avoid just for them to sell the vehicle quick and make money out of hardworking people like me, this was my very first time interacting with Volkswagen of lakeland and it’ll be my last, I don’t recommend this dealership whatsoever. I understand it’s a used vehicle but my purchased wasn’t honored like it should’ve been. I bought the vehicle, didn’t got it for free. The sales people were alright. More
Very friendly, caring people, fast service. Would recommend the service department. They wasn't pushy on the service that the car needed. Good people, but prices are too high. Example: plastic VW wheel emblem $37.00, Three hours waiting- $333.00 labor, Stabalizing sensor more than $200.00. When I had my VW disel auto-- front right headlight bulb went out. Dealership wanted more than $70.00 to replace. I went to AutoZone and purchased part for $19.95. The clerk even came out and showed me the proper way to replace. I realize the dealership has to make a profit, but the markup is rediculous. More
