Our experience with Lokey VW was a long, painful one. I’m sure I’ll forget some of the silliness that we went through, but it started with us looking for a specific car that was supposed to be at the lot I’m sure I’ll forget some of the silliness that we went through, but it started with us looking for a specific car that was supposed to be at the lot. We test drove a different car for an unknown reason, and instead of just saying they didn’t have the car we wanted, tried to make us buy the car we test drove. When we said we were just going to wait for the other car to come in, it magically showed up on the truck right that minute. After the test drive we noticed some scratches and a dent towards the back of the car. We said we still wanted it if that could be fixed. Our salesman said it would be done in a couple of days. Nearly three weeks later (18days) , we finally got the car. I will say the people in the body shop were very helpful and communicated well once we got to start talking to them about two weeks in. I talked to business office people, managers, and salesman and got the run around from everyone at the dealership. After hearing how long they have been in business from almost everyone that we talked to, I expected more. We will hope that as we get the car serviced there in the coming years, they can redeem such a poor sales experience. We actually like the car a lot, and a lot of the bad experience could have been prevented either by following up after the sale, or not promising things that were clearly not happening in the time frame that was communicated. More
