Dan Penner is the most knowledgable and helpful salesman at Long McArthur. We have purchased 5 cars from Dan over the years, plus he has helped our family with car purchased. Overall experience was good. I did not appreciate the high pressure sales pitches for the extended warranty. This came from their finance person and NOT Dave. The finance person tried to tell us we had high pressure sales pitches for the extended warranty. This came from their finance person and NOT Dave. The finance person tried to tell us we had to do a minimum extended warranty and that doing nothing was not an option. We told him we did not want anything and he said we still had to pay some anti theft fee of $199. When we verbally started to complain, he then said he could remove the anti theft fee. Also when it takes $299 for document processing, a person should be informed about that when negotating a price, not when it is time to pay for the car. There was no loan being taken out on the car, so I do not see why the paper work demanded such a high fee. We paid the document processing fee, but we were not very happy about it. They refunded the $299 a couple of days later since it was not disclosed up front. More

Monte was very professional and made buying an F150 super cab painless and easy. He is an excellant dealer/employee for Long Mcarthur. I highly recommend Monte for anyone looking for a good sales person to go the extra mile and make you feel that you are the only person looking to buy a car or Truck. I had one issue with the F150 that to me as the passenger in the passenger seat and how low I felt like I was sitting, Monte went above and beyond to make this issue fit my needs to the best of his abilty from what my options were to the best pricing that he could get to fix this issue for me. My husband and I was in the process of starting to look and thinking about buying a new truck and when we went into Long Mcarthur that day we left with our brand new F150, so that is how comfortable and painless Monte made our transition, we thought it would take several weeks of finding the right sales person that we felt comfortable with and to finding the right F150 for us, and all it took was walking into Long Mcarthur. This is the third or fourth time I have tried to put a review up here. I hope it works. I purchased a 2012 Tuxedo Black Ford Fiesta from Long-Mac. Love the car. Rick must have jumped through 20 hoops bac review up here. I hope it works. I purchased a 2012 Tuxedo Black Ford Fiesta from Long-Mac. Love the car. Rick must have jumped through 20 hoops backwards and forwards, finding this car from a dealership, getting it to me, getting the price down, and working out the lease. I want to mention that this is on a fairly bare-bones, entry level automobile. Rick did everything he told me that he would and he beat his time table each time. There was no weird stuff like how he has a distant relation that does my job, and all that. He heard what i wanted, showed me what I could have, and then got to work. Less than a week later, i was driving off the lot in the first car i have ever purchased (leased) in my life. Luke Vanderloo was of assistance as well, hooking me up with a couple of (in the long run) cheap ways to protect my investment and provide the best return value on the lease. Bottom line: In 37 months I will be talking to Rick about another car. Top notch. I hate giving straight 5s, but these guys earned them. More
