Taken advantage of, scammed by the service department!! on 2/4/19 I took my Kia Optima in for an oil change, tune up, safety inspection, and an emissions inspection to renew my license tags, Upon inspectio on 2/4/19 I took my Kia Optima in for an oil change, tune up, safety inspection, and an emissions inspection to renew my license tags, Upon inspection I was told that I needed tire rod ends on the front and new tires, a front headlamp replaced, and there was a recall issue that needed to be done. I agreed to the repair work and declined the tire purchase. All work was completed and the car passed both safety and emissions testing. (A total cost of about $754.00). The very next day (2/5/19) not less than 24 hrs later the engine light came on. I immediately called the service department to inform them, I was told to bring my car back and they would look at it. I was given an appointment for 8:45 on 2/6/19. When I arrived at the service dept, I was told by Nicci Pollard that they would look at my car but I had to agree to pay $140.00 for them to put it on the machine to find out why the engine light came on if it "was not" related to work performed on 2/4/19. well low and behold I was told that it "wasn't". Nicci Pollard then informed me that the technician said I needed transmission work at a cost of $584.00. I told her that I had just spent almost $800.00 and I did not have additional money to pay for this additional work to be done, she then told me to apply online for a loan to pay for it. I was very insulted!!!!!!!!!!!!! I declined the work but still had to pay $140.00. I feel totally taken advantage of because if there truly was a problem with the transmission........ 1.) why was this "transmission" issue not found when I took the car in on 2/4/19? 2.) How did the car pass both safety and emissions testing on 2/4/19 and not 24 hrs later there is a $584.00 "transmission repair" needed? 3.) My transmission was working fine before I brought the car in for service; now all of a sudden a major repair is needed? I have brought my car to Lou Fusz Kia for service and maintenance in the past , and I have never felt so deceived and insulted as I have this service repair experience. I will no longer be a Lou Fusz service customer. I will have my car repaired just not at your dealership. AND I WILL BE SHARING THIS SERVICE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!! More

I would recommend either of them for people looking for new cars. Kris knew what our "absolutes" were and he took care of us beautifully. We left something in our 2016 Kia and Kris went the extra mile to get them back for us even though the car had already been taken for detailing. To me that is going way above and beyond. There were even some things on our car that I wasn't looking for and it's great they were included. The safety features of the 2019 Forte are much better than our 2016 Forte we traded in. Car shopping and financing are such hassles to begin with, but both Kris and Joe made the experience almost exciting. You can't go wrong with Lou Fusz and these two wonderful guys. More

I have spent a great deal of time in other dealerships, as both an employee and a consumer, and this was by far t I visited Lou Fusz to buy a new car. I have spent a great deal of time in other dealerships, as both an employee and a consumer, and this was by far the best experience I've had. The staff at Lou Fusz demonstrated transparency, respect for my time, cordiality, and very low pressure. I feel like the price I paid for my new car, my trade-in value, my interest rate, and the cost of my finance add-ons were all fair and reasonable. I definitely intend to refer friends and family, and will myself return when its time to trade again. More

Unexpected Excellence We were just shopping and really looking to just test drive a used KIA Sportage. We had never been around a KIA and over the last few days had driven We were just shopping and really looking to just test drive a used KIA Sportage. We had never been around a KIA and over the last few days had driven nearly every other mid-size SUV. We had experienced both the good and the ugly of car sales staff in the last few days. Curtis and Jared listened and worked with us. While they were "selling" us, it really didn't feel like it. It felt more as if a friend was giving us good suggestions, with no pressure. We started out expecting to only test drive a used vehicle to see what a KIA was like and drove away with a good deal on a brand new one. We didn't even get to the dealership until 7:30pm and everyone was very courteous to us even when the finance part didn't get started until after 9:30pm. By 10:10pm we were on the road with a new vehicle and we love it. We ranked the KIA easily in the top or top 2 of all that we drove. It was backed up when a couple weeks after the purchase a 2019 SUV car ranking report came out and also said KIA was a very close #2. More

I mentioned a noise in my car that they told me also was the subject of another recall, but the "fix" wasn't effective, so they had the mechanic spend time to "craft" an effective repair. My appointment was scheduled for 7:30 AM, but I start my work day at 7:15. I was able to arrive at 6:45 (15 minutes before they opened) so that they could shuttle me to work right on time. They picked me up at the front door of my work when I got off from work. More
