Great customer service. I was in the market for a new car, this would be my 4th new car purchase. So I hv had that car buying experience and it is not always fun. dealerships and sale people can be a bear to work with. Luther Bloomington Hyundai is not like that. My salesman A.K. Abdi was helpful and friendly. He never pressured me to make a decision I wasn’t ready to make. I had looked at the Mazda CX3, CX5 and also looked at the KIA NIRO. Test drove them all and the KONA twice. I really liked the Kona and test drove it twice to be sure it was the right fit. During and after my decision to purchase A.K. was there to assist me. Always extremely polite and professional. So far I love my new car and would send anyone and everyone to Luther Bloomington Hyundai to check out a new car purchase. My only complaint was that I applied for a lease online in a Wednesday at 10p. On Saturday I called the dealership to find out my application was not received or reviewed. Though I had gotten a confirmation email after submission. Monday morning I called again. Alex found both applications and said he did not see any problems. Monday afternoon Kassia said my application had been approved and apologized for delay. The car I wanted was gone 2019 sonic silver KONA. In the end the sales manager offered me a 2020 at $299 a month instead of the 2019 at $289 a month for a lease which was longer available in the color I wanted . I was satisfied with the offer and did not wrangle further or decide to go elsewhere. More

The service manager basically called me a liar. They had two vehicles with the options that I was looking for. It was just a matter of what color I wanted. My sales consultant, Carrie McWilliams, was very knowledgeable about the car and she was able to answer all of the questions I had and give me a great run down on the features. More
Best price on new cars but expensive service We already had two Hyundai Sonatas so have had experience with the service and found it expensive compared to other dealerships. Thank goodness it is a great car and has a 5 year warranty so didn't need much repair but even the scheduled maintenance was quite pricey. We just bought another new Hyundai Sonata. The experience was good until after signing all the forms for purchasing and financing they hit us with at least 7 packages to put on the car (like undercoating or clear coating) or covering repairs or servicing after the warranty expired. The highest priced package being nearly $2,500. I asked if we could take the list home and think about it. I was told then it would be on used car prices and not a new car. We weren't even taking delivery until the next day. It was really stressful making a fast decision on a lot of money. I would recommend when you are looking to get that list from each dealer so you can have time to consider what you want and also compare those prices as well as the price of the car. It was the best price but we probably will take it to another dealership for the more expensive servicing and repairs. More
