Poor customer service/judgement from Service manager I spent a good part of a Saturday shopping for tires on 2 cars. I spoke to parts person Jim who was very helpful. I found some tires I liked as well a I spent a good part of a Saturday shopping for tires on 2 cars. I spoke to parts person Jim who was very helpful. I found some tires I liked as well as price at a competitor.. He said they would price match and I’d still qualify for Bridgestone and Luther rebate. I did verify price out the door several times as well as rebates, I was told yes everything is good to go. Tires got installed and the price wasn’t as expected for both vehicles, I had to argue to with service manager and when it was all said and done he refused to give me $200 in Luther rebates. It was ridiculous how long it took to as he kept coming back with offers other then what I was told. Needless to say I’m done doing business with Luther, for $200 the service manger will lose a customer who trades vehicles about every 2 to 3 years and almost always I buy an SUV. Jim and Robin were good to work with I believe Tim never came out of his office to talk to me! More

So I have to presume the overhead and margins are huge. I’d appreciate less glitz on a facility and better repair pricing. “Less show, more go”. I fully comprehend the process of “standard pricing” whereby an average duration is determined from which to apply the labor rate. Don’t agree with it but I understand it. It hides the low performing labor base as a general rule. But......we the consumer are trapped by the high technology incorporated in modern vehicles. With computer control and data recording today’s mechanics should spend less time in diagnostic and with the application of Six Sigma, the standardized repair has no search time for tools and vehicle designs are far better considerate of maintenance processes. In my case I asked about repairing the alternator to which came the response “no one repairs alternators”. Wrong answer. Dealerships now employ the R&R principal......sad. Regards, More

Not the best day I purchased my vehicle from Luther and have had all of my service done there with no problems. Yesterday, I had my oil changed and tires rotated. I h I purchased my vehicle from Luther and have had all of my service done there with no problems. Yesterday, I had my oil changed and tires rotated. I had to return my vehicle to Luther because the wheels were really vibrating after the rotation and the oil indicator showed the oil was at 25%. ( the gauge was not reset). I once again drove about 20 miles when the Engine Light started flashing. I called and will have to bring my vehicle in again when the roads improve. The service person I called and worked with assured me he will help to get this resolved. More

Very helpful. I came in with out appointment with another flat tire. I knew it was time to get new tires and oil change. Kevin was able to fit me and get it don I came in with out appointment with another flat tire. I knew it was time to get new tires and oil change. Kevin was able to fit me and get it done so I didn't have to come back and still got to my dentist appointment.
