Maita Toyota - Service Center

Unprofessional staff. First they were trying to charge us a deductible ( which we told they we didn’t have one for that particular service). I have a 13year old daughter( First they were trying to charge us a deductible ( which we told they we didn’t have one for that particular service). I have a 13year old daughter( was at school), 3 year old daughter and a 2 year old, they were playing in the boat structure they have for kids that come in, we were there for hours, after which they starting playing with other children that were there. They will scream out of excitement which I kept asking them not to yell. The secretary yelled from across the room to “stop yelling, it’s a business”. It caught me off guard and didn’t say a word to her. The kids keep quiet, playing and yelled again. She came up to all the children and yelled at them to stop screaming. I looked at her and asked not to speak to my children unless yell at them. No other employee approached to help, I asked the gentleman helping us to remind her she is an employee and not to be yelling at no stranger kids. No other customer seemed bother for the few times the kids yelled, the building was loud from being busy. The secretary was louder and creating a ruckus with her yelling. More

Wait time is long. I waited about 4 1/2 hours and had to get up to ask what was going on. Keeping people waiting that long without a word should not happen. At them most your vehicle is still not worked on or its being worked on or it's almost complete. Spoke to a manager who referred me to front counter and never heard back from him. My vehicle was absolutely taken care and glad that it was taken care off. I will return but know if they have to fix a problem it takes hours. More

I appreciate Maita and the professionalism of your staff and efficiency of your services. I do question why the recall work took a 6 hour timeframe when actual work didn’t begin until the last hour accordi and efficiency of your services. Maita has been performing all the maintenance on my vehicle for over 25 years. In all that time I have found the staff to be courteous, skillful and professional in all their dealings with me.
