The seller kept saying, "it's nothing", "don't worry", but when pressed and asked if he was so sure would he pay for repairs if there were any? His reply "NO WAY", "you're getting such a deal". I knew I had to get this car checked out before purchasing - for peace of mind - and to be a smart buyer! Tracee explained exactly what would be done as part of the service, she answered all my questions and made note of the noise I heard. Tracee checked for any RECALLs too, which there was one! I didn't ask her to, she just did this as part of the service, and I'm getting that fixed too! Some places would have asked me to make another appointment! Not Manly Honda - they fixed that along with the used car inspection. The service was excellent. I received a PRINTED checklist providing information on belts, hoses, exhaust system, "life" of brakes, battery, and tires, all very clearly stated as Green (PASS), Yellow (Pass, but will need service), or Red "Requires attention". Also, my mechanic (Jeff Keophilap) added detailed notes like "not an issue at this time", but what to look for in the future. As to the "whine" I heard? Sure enough Jeff heard it too! The power steering fluid was low, below the line. As part of the service, they filled it up and NO MORE WHINE! The icing on the cake was the price - not extreme like you might think with a dealership repair shop. I'm buying this car with CONFIDENCE knowing it has been thoroughly checked out! You can bet I'll be having it serviced at Manly Honda in Santa Rosa. ....Who will I ask for? You got it... TRACEE OLIBAS, Service Advisor EXTRAORDINAIRE! Let's not forget Jeff Keophilap too!
