He handled all the little questions I texted, modified our deal to match my last second specifications, and prepared my vehicle to my satisfaction. He even remained patient and supportive while shivering in the cold as my old-man eyes and fingers struggled to figure out the Mazda app on my phone. Right on, Jaik I know you were cold man. The financing guy, Taylor, was transparent and honest too. He didn’t push anything - he just presented the facts and let me figure things out for myself. He too was patient and relatable. In my circle of friends and family I’m known as the one who enjoys the whole “car buying” process; many people I know loathe it. Well, this transaction was pretty darned respectful. There was no drama and I like it that way. I would recommend Elk Grove Mazda, Jaik Eillmon, Taylor Schacher, and also Jon Murphy (he was just as friendly on my initial, first-contact, late evening tire-kick a few months back) to people who may feel anxiety buying a car. The car buying paradigm has changed a lot over the last couple of decades; transparency rules the day, and so customer service and respect really matters.
