I got the pleasure of working with Garrett Oxnaes. He was great, very helpful and I would highly recommend him. I went to this dealership a few weeks before I actually purchased a vehicle. I told him my situation and that I was just looking. He did not try to pressure me in anyway. Garrett showed me what I was interested in and we test drove it. Then I left. Garrett did contact me a few times just to check in with me and ask me how I was doing and if I was ready to purchase the car. Again he did not pressure me. Before returning to Mazda of Elk Grove I thought I found a better deal on the car I wanted at another dealer. I was lied to by the dealer and told the car I was looking at online was on their lot, so I went there only to be told the car I wanted was in Clovis. Then, I was told that because of my credit situation I would be better off to get a new car. So they proceeded to try to sell me a car I did not want and when I told them I needed to think about it, they pushed harder for the sale and when I still tried to walk away they pushed even harder. It was very very unpleasant. So I called Garrett back and asked if the car I had been looking at was still in stock. He again was very helpful and confirmed the car was still there. I went that night to look at it again. I was very nervous because of some credit issues and buying a car is a big decision. Garrett came back with a deal I could not refused. He did not ask for more money then I was willing to give and gave me options on terms. Plus the team got me a great rated considering my situations. I got the car I wanted, at a good price, in the color I wanted, now that does not happen often. Thank you so much to Garrett and the Elk Grove Mazda team. More

Although we were unable to meet her in person, she referred us to Maverick who was also very friendly and helpful. He attended to all our needs, big or small, and answered all questions and concerns with ease. Never did he make us feel pressure to buy, which is a very important aspect for me. Matt met us on a Friday we were tired after having been to another dealer so we just looked. No pressure very friendly and nice salesman. We came back Sunday to drive the Mazda 3. I had a Mazda 323 in the 90s which was an extremely reliable car and I put over 200,000 miles on it. We were looking at Kia also but the reliability, safety, and gas mileage sold my husband since it was his turn to decide on the Mazda 3. The experiences at Elk Grove Mazda was a 5+ out of five. Matt's knowledge, care and no pressure approach plus the qualities of the car had us come back Tuesday and buy it. It is thee Grand Touring with all the bells and whistles so I need to go back to the dealer and have Matt give me a lesson, I was too tired the night of purchase. We are looking forward to going back to the dealer for that lesson, the first oil change, car washes and any warranty work plus any of our other needs and we are sure future experiences will be gratifying. Ratish and I went on a test drive and I was impressed. Ratish went over all the features of the car with me. Ratish was very knowledgeable about the Mazda 3. I decided to purchase the Mazda 3 for my daughter on the same day of the test drive. Anthony Triggs, the Sales Manager, was very accommodative and up front throughout the entire process.I completed all of the paperwork in less than a half hour. I informed Anthony that I would pick the car up in a couple of days to surprise my daughter at the dealership. I was very satisfied with Tommy Davis who created a hassle-free experience in the finance department. To surprise my daughter on the day of the delivery of the Mazda 3, Maverick America, the Sales Consultant, went over the entire car with my daughter. At this point my daughter had no idea that Maverick was going over the car that was purchased for her. I approached my daughter and stated "how do you like your new car?" My daughter was truly shocked and overjoyed, smiling ear to ear. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from Mazda of Elk Grove. The whole sales team was phenomenal. Thank You Mazda of Elk Grove! The only thing that wasn't up to par with the rest of the experience was that I bought a used car and they didn't do the best job of cleaning it on the inside. Although the outside was immaculate, there were some obvious marks, smudges and dirt that should have been address. I sure had it been a new car, this would not have been the case. Maybe its because I clean my own car that I'm so particular and I have OCD when it comes to these things. Other than that I would recommend this dealership to anyone. More
