Not only did MB of Hagerstown take me in on a busy Friday, but they took the time to really examine my issue on a 21-year-old 300 SD. Tom Mummert, the shop foreman, took it under his wing and engineer Friday, but they took the time to really examine my issue on a 21-year-old 300 SD. Tom Mummert, the shop foreman, took it under his wing and engineered a clever auxiliary crankcase vent system that would catch the oil blowing out due to high engine wear/extreme blow-by. On the ride back to Chicago, I thanked my lucky stars I was able to go to MB of Hagerstown, because other dealers had their hands on the car before and all they could do was console me because there was no fix - by the book. But the modified system captured the oil that before had covered the underside of the car, and with the engine crankcase pressure lower, it used less oil. Nothing lasts forever, and my car has 253,000 miles on it, but at least I will get all the last miles out of this. I would highly recommend MB of Hagerstown and Tom in particular (and let's not forget Alex, the service advisor who got me in the door). If you ever have a challenging quirk or seemingly insurmountable problem, give this team a chance and you may be thrilled as I am. More

I would like to make the first review right. I was a little premature on my first review as I had an issue with the vehicle I recently purchased. The stereo did not work and I did not give the dealer ample time to reply. The issue has been resolved and I could not be happier. Barry London went the extra mile to assure that I was satisfied. The entire buying experience at the dealership was above and beyond. They can be assured that in the future I will again do business with them and already gave reccomendations to friends and family. I feel that there are so many other business that could benefit from the customer service provided by Mercedes of Hagerstown, it's what it is all about the customer.
