No pressure, which has made auto shopping a real pain in the past. You know, vultures descending on a piece of meat. Instead, I was offered a Coke, my questions were answered intelligently, the options were explained, and even though I was looking a bit scruffy that day, they let me take the car home so my wife could take a look at it. I already had a very low interest rate approved at my credit union but Rob was able to beat it, thereby saving me a bit of change. He's also a wiz at getting the paperwork part of the transaction done quickly. We had been looking at Cadillac CTS models at six different dealerships in four states over the last week or so, and within 6 hours of first seeing the C300 and meeting Barry, I was set on purchasing at Mercedes Benz of Hagerstown. 9 AM the next morning, we picked up a freshly detailed, beautiful C300. And after Barry made sure we understood which knobs did what, and how to use the hands free phone, and mounted the tags, we were off. These guys were a real pleasure to work with and I will be sure to pass my recommendation on to family, friends and co-workers. Somehow, I don't think my first Mercedes will be my last Mercedes and I know where I will be buying it. More

I am a racer at heart and I have watched Mercedes on TV since 1984 and am a huge fan of Formula 1, which Mercedes now have a factory works team again as well as the highly successful McLaren Mercedes. I am 41 years old and this was the easiest most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. I always used to have to haggle to the end for the deal I have wanted and it was all easy and friendly and also one of the best parts living in Hagerstown, I was able to keep my business local and NOT have to ride to Washington D. C./ Balitmore area for a good deal. Hats off to all you folks at MB of Hagerstown. I would recommend you to anyone. Alot of people in racing look at Ferrari almost as a religion. I am not an easy customer as I have developed a negative attitude about the newer cars in general. However, Mike Lavrenchik says his job is to make the buying experience as nice as possible and he strives t attitude about the newer cars in general. He listens to what the customer wants and tries to tailor the vehicle to the customer's desires. He is not hard sell, but he is definitely focused on eventually succeeding with a completed transaction. It is clear that Mike believes in the product he is representing and that gives his customer additional confidence in the purchase. It is also clear that he believes the dealership will provide the professional service support to create a long term relationship with the customer. What more can you ask for? There was also some involvement by the sales manager, Rob Buchanan. He also was not hard sell, but just added encouragement regarding the product and the dealership as I have owned many German cars, but this is my first Mercedes Benz. The bottom line is they had a car that met my needs, treated me fairly with the price and trade and I bought the car. I feel I was treated professionally and cordially and I am grateful for that.
