Walked in w a bad battery to parts advised take it to service. First service rep cool take it outside get it bench tested. Get it done fails got my printout walk back in the service tec I initially spoke service. First service rep cool take it outside get it bench tested. On the day of my visit this service tec was at the desk that you see walking back from the parts department making a left turn. Anyways I place the battery on his desk he looked at me as though I had upset him he wasn't doing anything looking at something on his personal cell phone. Anyways he's like how can I help you I'm like got a bad battery bench tested failed here's the printout. He's like where's the car I'm like at my house. He's like we don't warranty anything unless the car is here. I'm like that's ridiculous so I'm suppose to jump start my car bring it here turn it off fails test? Now I need a jump and once that happens I'd parked it in your parking lot and would've removed it. Something probably not encouraged or allowed. Anyways went to the next counter got taken care of but this kind of customer service is horrible. The last time I had my scheduled service appointment I had an oil change appointment anyways got there 5+ minutes early. Waiting waiting and hour and like 10 minutes go buy I flagged down a manager and was like what's the deal I have an appointment and my car isn't even in a bay. I was told sorry but we are backed up we had a lot of walk ins I'm like exactly I have an appointment doesn't that matter. Finally get my car back over 2 hrs over the scheduled appointment. That was the last time my car was serviced there was I have several Hondas and my 2006 Civic I bought at Norm Reeves. Anyways if anyone wants to call me anytime 562 229 4490. Hopefully someone who knows anything gets the battery replacement deal okayed without having to see it in a vehicle. More

I’ve been a loyal customer at Norm Reeves Honda Superstore Cerritos since purchasing my vehicle there back in 2015, but after my most recent service appointment on July 15, 2025, I’m left incredibl Superstore Cerritos since purchasing my vehicle there back in 2015, but after my most recent service appointment on July 15, 2025, I’m left incredibly disappointed—and seriously questioning whether I’ll return. I had a 3:00 PM appointment for regular maintenance. Ruben Marquez was my service advisor, who mentioned having 20 years of experience with this dealership. Based on that, I expected professionalism and quality service. What I got was the exact opposite. The visit was supposed to include a standard oil change, free tire rotation (since I bought my tires there), fluid top-offs, and a multi-point inspection with a detailed report. It wasn’t even busy at the time, so there’s no excuse for the lack of attention. Here’s what was missing: • No multi-point inspection sheet — I got nothing from the technician. • No battery test results — These are usually part of every service. • No update on fluid levels, wear items, or when my next service is due. • No sign that any fluids were topped off at all. • And frankly, now I’m left wondering if the oil change was even done. It honestly feels like they just drove my car into a bay, let it sit for two hours, and handed it back without touching it. Back in 2015, the service team at this dealership was sharp, communicative, and thorough. Today, it feels like those people are long gone—along with the quality of service they provided. Whether it’s a change in management or staff, something has clearly gone wrong. Norm Reeves is a big name, but the experience I had doesn’t reflect that at all. If this is the “new standard,” I’ll be seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. More
