I brought in my Honda CR-V for diagnostics to find out why the car kept stalling out. It took over a day to get a diagnosis, despite the appointment (who knew an appointment is merely a spot in a long queue that can last multiple days before being seen?). That diagnosis was initially for fuel injectors. A quick check of the vehicle record showed I just had those replaced a few months ago so suddenly the diagnosis became a $1,900 repair / replacement of the high pressure fuel pump. After paying the $200 for the diagnosis I towed the vehicle back home. A mechanic friend who owns testing equipment the dealer should have access to and I drove the truck and found, on load while driving, not while idling - just as I initially explained to the dealer - there were misfires on 3 cylinders. Funny enough it was the 3 cylinders that had after market coils but none on the cylinder with the single OEM coil. We replaced the three coils in 10 minutes. That's $300 in parts and I've had no issues with the vehicle in the last 3 days since putting them in and have driven a couple hundred miles including testing for failure multiple times going from zero to 70mph with the accelerator pedal to the floor. Clearly the coils were the issue. Also clearly the vehicle wasn't fully tested for the root cause of the problem since the problem I suggested from the start was the issue. This basically tells me the dealer is throwing expensive parts at a problem rather than getting to root cause. Adding insult to injury, after we got the truck home from the dealer we noticed the middle seat was lifted up and held in place with a bungee cable. The dealer didn't even return the middle seat to normal and bolt it down after testing the fuel pump. I'm highly unsatisfied. I honestly believe a refund of my diagnostic fee should be in order! More

My experience with Norman Reas has always been well enough to keep me happy for a little bit but in the time of me purchasing my vehicle we had terrible rates terrible payments my only wishes that ever enough to keep me happy for a little bit but in the time of me purchasing my vehicle we had terrible rates terrible payments my only wishes that everything goes back to normal and that dealership stop breaking up prices cuz I originally want a truck but at the time of the economy it just wasn't in the car yet so it is what it is but I'm very happy with my Honda because it's my favorite Honda it's the last of it to breed and no longer make Hondas like this and I wish they did but they don't that's why I had to settle for a 2020 but like I said it's my favorite Honda it's my dream Honda so I'm really appreciate it of that but like I said it's a dying breed there's no there's no other Honda's going to be like this anymore as far as I know all of them are coming out with the CVT transmission and in my opinion that's just not a good transmission.
