Needed an airbag replaced due to recall. Called and gave them the recall info. Said it would take a week to get part and about two hours to replace. Underhanded Sales Tactics I saw a vehicle listed on website for $12,900. I go in and test drive it and every thing seemed fine. We started negotiating trade in value of my ve I saw a vehicle listed on website for $12,900. I go in and test drive it and every thing seemed fine. We started negotiating trade in value of my vehicle and trying to reduce cost of the purchase vehicle which goes from 9k-12k bluebook value used. They had an initial quote printed out when I went in which we made revisions on and they would scribble things out, draw arrows to new amounts, initial things, cross out amounts and was written in chicken scratch and impossible to even make out what the actual price was and they will try to confuse you with monthly payment amounts. These guys will NOT email you any quote or financing contract. I requested a cleaned up quote because of all the adjustments they made and wanted to take it home and review which they would not accommodate. They send an emails saying vehicle is XXX + fees - trade in = out the door price. This was not correct as there are loads of other fees they will attach and they will not send a quote or contract because they know its xx. They try to get you into the office and pressure you to sign any contract. They swear they will find good interest rates and even when they dont they will try to paint it as they found you an amazing deal. What they found for me was 6.35% interest over 5 years which would total out to more than the car was even worth. I know for a fact I can get 4.25% or below that right now. We are in the middle of a pandemic and just how grossly irresponsible they were not emailing me anything to review and instead trying to get the customer to come into office and blindly sign whatever they give you is terrible business. At the end they match me with someone else which was probably another tactic and this gentleman could not answer a simple question without going into some long, silly convoluted explanation and not answer any questions straight. Mind you at this point I knew I wasn't going to buy the vehicle because I was ripped off but was still interested in the sales pitch so I at least had a funny story to walk out with and tell friends. I said I was going to make a call real quick and walked the xxxx out. Thanks for wasting my time guys. I'll be sticking with Carmax. Way to represent yourself Texas. I look forward to moving back up North as soon as possible. More
Bad experience with buying parts here. Bought a new windshield. Arrived with damage on bottom corner which I did not catch until I reached my glass installer. Was basically told to go pound sand when I reported the parts damage over the phone to them. If you buy glass from them, make sure you have time to open the box, remove the glass, remove the plastic and go through every inch of the edge of the windshield. Box was obviously opened before I even took possession of it too. More

He could have ignored me but instead went out of his way to expedite my vehicle. His disposition was not only friendly but respectful. Being old school i truly appreciate this characteristic. Horrible business and customer values, 2 months of waiting Do not buy a used vehicle from North Park Toyota of San Antonio. I bought this truck for the safety features to compensate for the loss of my right eye in Afghanistan. My sales manager Blaine Waddell, speaking on behalf Tania Eubank the GM, decided that they would buy the truck back for an $8,000 loss to me after I had problems from day one. I brought the truck back four times in the month and a half that I’ve owned it. Blaine sold me on how the dealership puts a vehicle through a 168 point check before they ever go out on the lot. HOW DOES A VEHICLE GO OUT ON THE LOT WITHOUT FUNCTIONING WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID FLUID let alone being horrible out of line and the track bar, ball joints, and bushings needing repaired? There was no hose from the reservoir to the cowl. How do they miss this in a safety check? That’s required for a state safety inspection. The truck is hiding something. I've been waiting a month for this problem to be rectified. Blaine does not respond and passes the buck on everything. They had to replace a lot of components in the front end because of a horrible wobble. The front end was so bad that it almost caused me to wreck. They problem still persists and I do not feel safe in the truck. I bought a $50,000 truck with 22k miles. How is all of this wrong with a new vehicle and then a dealership screw a customer over by not taking it back? Thank you North Park for your immoral business practices and screwing over a customer that came to you for a safe vehicle that is a death trap. It could have been prevented if you would have actually check the vehicle over and could be remedied by accepting your failure back! More
