Dishonest and Unethical Sales Practice If you are wondering why the price for a used vehicle listed by them is lower than what you have seen, it is because it is too good to be true. Let m If you are wondering why the price for a used vehicle listed by them is lower than what you have seen, it is because it is too good to be true. Let me explain my experience with this dealership. I had drove through 1.5 hours in bad NY traffic to arrive at this dealership and see the vehicle they listed on autotrader for a certain price. After talking with the salesman, I find out they show 90% of the price and that their is additional 10% deposit plus additional dealership fees in addition to your usual taxes and tags. This made the vehicle $6k more! The bait you with a lower price and then rely on a out of place poorly worded disclaimer detailing the additional costs as justification for a very poor and unethical practice of this dealership. It is sad to think how many others fell into this trap and even worse went ahead with their purchase. A truly honest and professional dealership would have no problem listing the actual price of a vehicle. I should thank them for opening my eyes to this practice and will now avoid dealerships who practice such dishonest tactics. More
