Just wanted to thank John Berghoff for making the buying a car experience less stressful. I was in need of a new car soon and it'd seemed I was out of luck with the "supply chain issue" that everyone is ta a car experience less stressful. John came through because my Dad had bought a car from him a few years ago. I drive a lot and live in Chicago but frequent Indiana every so often since my folks still live there.(You may have read my Fathers Review under this one but this is straight from the horse's mouth). John arranged for everything to happen with a few weeks. He made the buying process extremely easy and seemed to have my best interests at heart. I had conversed with him back and forth and it was all set up so when I came in on a Monday. I walked out with the car on that Monday after basically signing paper work for about an hour. They even gave me some money for my old car which had a good 150,000 miles on it. They basically rolled everything into the loan including the extra warranty, rust proofing and even the fees/paperwork for the Illinois license plates. John was extremely down to earth. He didn't feel pushy like I had to buy the car, even though I had them work out everything ahead of time. I would just like to thank John for his hard work and giving me a piece of mind. I know if I would have went through another dealer especially in the windy city, it probably would have been much more of a hassle if you know what I mean. I am happy with my 2021 Ford EcoSport! Review of O’Daniel Ford and John Berghoff I continue to be very impressed with salesman John Berghoff and the O’Daniel Ford Dealership in general. John is straight forward, very knowledgeable on Ford products, very customer focused, very honest, and great to work with! He displayed all these characteristics when I purchased my 2019 Ford Edge form him in August of 2019. That’s why I went straight back to him when helping my son, David, purchase a new 2021 vehicle. David is a professional musician in Chicago and does a lot of driving to play at various venues and to give piano lesson all around the Chicago area. He was driving a 2011 Ford Focus that had about 156,000 miles on it and was badly rusting. He really needed a new car but with the supply chain issues due to the COVID-19 pandemic there weren’t many cars available on the lots of the car dealers. Luckily I found a 2021 SE EcoSport on the O’Daniel Ford website. I sent my son, David, a link to check it out and he was very interested. I immediately contacted John Berghoff and he suggested I come in and check it out. I test drove the vehicle and let John know I thought my son would like to buy it. John was able to hold the car over a week for us until my son was able to come from Chicago to check it out. David wanted the car protected with the Ziebart Diamond Gloss Paint Protection, Sound Proofing, Rust Proofing, and Fabric Protection. John arranged to have all that work completed plus all the Dealership paperwork before David came to Fort Wayne so that David could get the car right away. The car was a loaner with only about 3,000 miles on it so John sold it at a price even lower than the Ford A Plan price (normally reserved for Ford employees). He also extended the Ford Bumper to Bumper Warranty from 36 months/36,000 Miles to 42 months/42,000 miles. Finally he also gave David a fair trade-in price for his Ford Focus. David left the dealership extremely happy with his new car! For all above the reasons I’ll continue to take my business to O’Daniel Ford and purchase my vehicles from John Berghoff. You should too! Jennifer Hull worked very hard on trying to find the truck that had all the features that I wanted. When she could not find one with the features I wanted, she ask if I wanted her to have Ford build me truck that had all the features that I wanted. When she could not find one with the features I wanted, she ask if I wanted her to have Ford build me one and I said yes. So she had my dream truck built. I really like (love) my new truck. Jennifer treated as a friend and not just a customer. WAY TO GO JENNIFER!! All the employees at O'Daniel Ford treat me as a valued customer. The management, sales, service, parts, and repair departments, are all great people to work with. This is the reason that I will only buy, and have my service done at O'Daniel Ford. In New Haven Indiana. While I was transferring the contents from the old to the new truck, Mr. O'Daniel came out in the parking lot to thank me for my purchase. Now that's what I call service!!!
