I would like to thank Enrique Capiro for such a smooth sales process. I walked into the dealership not knowing what I was looking for and he was so helpful. Well In Dec 2021 I had a issue with my Onboard Computer. I went to the dealer and I was advised that they need to order a new chip for my car. They call me and tell me the chip is in . So i set up a an appo I went to the dealer and I was advised that they need to order a new chip for my car. They call me and tell me the chip is in . So i set up a an appointment and then they say to me that they WONT BE CHANGING THE CHIP THEY ORDERED. Very wrong in my opinion as a customer. They decided to do a software update to my vehicle . They should have changed the chip they told me they would order and did order. Other than that , they are just ok in my book nothing special Barbara was very nice and helping me when my car was in for service she did what she had to do , to keep the customer happy. But what have made me happier is that the chip in the arm rest would have been changed !!! When the vehicle was in for the diagnosis the vehicle was not sanitized and they did not put a wheel cover on the steering wheel and the seat cover on the seat. The second time when I went back when I was expecting the change of the chip they did put covers on the Steering Wheel and the Seat Cover. I did bring the mistake to the Service Manager attention that I was not happy the first time when i was there so he was aware !! More
My 2019 XT4 with only 16000 miles has to go back in for repair for the 3rd time in 10 days for the exact same emission/engine issue! I purchased the car new from Ocean Cadillac and each time, they refuse a repair for the 3rd time in 10 days for the exact same emission/engine issue! I purchased the car new from Ocean Cadillac and each time, they refuse a loaner or rental car. Cadillac states that AFTER the repair I can submit an invoice for the rental and they will cover $47 per day. They realize that currently you cannot rent a car for that daily rate so they will CONSIDER paying more once I submit the invoice. I have owned/currently own Mercedes, BMW, AUDI and Ford and each one of these provides a loaner or rental when the repair is UNDER WARRANTY and takes longer than 24 hours. They always have the loaner/rental waiting when I drop off my vehicle. Cadillac wants me to somehow get to a car rental place (without my car) , lay out the costs, file a claim with them…and hope that they will reimburse the majority of the cost????? Cadillac does not stand behind its cars….car is till under the original manufacturer warranty and repair is still not made…..In addition, Cadillac treats its customers poorly. I have left messages for the general manager, but he doesn’t return my calls. Avoid Ocean Cadillac, and do not be mistaken into believing Cadillac is a luxury brand. More
