We had an oil change service schedule for 11:00AM. My wife was made to wait over an hour and a half past her scheduled appointment time of 11AM before anyone stated that they were drinking behind due My wife was made to wait over an hour and a half past her scheduled appointment time of 11AM before anyone stated that they were drinking behind due to an employee call in. She arrived at 10:45AM and was not approached by a staff member until 12:30PM who notified her of the call in and delay. They then stated at 1:00PM that they called another tech in for work and that they started working on her car and it shouldn't be much longer. At 1:15PM they came back and told her that the original tech had come in and they were now starting her car. At 1:35PM they told her that her car was finished and she was ready to go. For the entire inconvenience of a 30 minute oil change taking over 2 1/2 hours they gave her a $6 discount. I am not complaining about the tech calling in, that's understandable. I do not however think that making a scheduled paying customer wait over an hour and half before letting them know, or giving them any option to reschedule or wait is acceptable. More
