What a great crew! Took my son car hunting this past Saturday. I had 6 dealerships picked out to look for a used car in our somewhat limited budget. Didn’t have any luck Took my son car hunting this past Saturday. I had 6 dealerships picked out to look for a used car in our somewhat limited budget. Didn’t have any luck the first 3 stops in finding anything with decent miles and year make. We pulled into the lot at Paramount early afternoon and was greeted my Michael Newman, sales consultant. After describing what we were looking for and the budget, Michael didn’t tell us that we would have a hard time pulling that off in our budget. He showed confidence that we could pull it off, as opposed to the skepticism we had encountered by other consultants earlier in the day from other dealerships. Michael took time to go through each option from their stock of vehicles, and didn’t project even a hint of overbearance. We test drove a couple of options that ultimately fit the bill, and as we test drove, he let us choose where we wanted to go as opposed to a route he wanted us to go. In going back to the sales offices, there wasn’t an ounce of pressure I felt after sharing that we liked two options specifically, but definitely wanted to make sure we did our due diligence with the search. Josh came by the office and reiterated their objective to meet our objective. Later in the day I ended up coming across a vehicle that an individual owned that ended up being too good of a deal to pass, as this individual was at the last dealership we visited and was going to trade in this car on a new one he wanted but they weren’t able to give him what he wanted on trade. Had it not been for that occurrence, I was headed to KIA Monday morning to get the car we had decided on at Paramount. I felt bad somewhat to call Michael back and share that this other happenstance occurred and was too good of a deal to pass up. He didn’t make me feel bad at all, but agreed that we couldn’t have passed it up. And projected a genuine happiness for my son having found a car even though he didn’t make the sale. And I appreciated that greatly. Even after breaking the news, he and I talked, and it wasn’t as if I was now wasting his time somehow. When my son and I pulled out of KIA yesterday to grab lunch before the next location to visit, we both agreed that the experience we just had made us want to do business there. That’s a nice thing this day and time. I will look for an opportunity to do business with these guys in the future based on yesterday. So thank you to Michael and Josh at Paranoubt KIA. I don’t typically take time to write reviews, but this group is not the typical textbook sales and management force. Not that there’s anything wrong with the predictable “by the book” approach. Check them out if you are in the market. I knew very little about KIA cars before yesterday and they have other makes on the used lot, yet I will add that I was impressed with that brand of car. More
