Yesterday (March 15, 2022) I had a routine oil change done by Peninsula Subaru. Their "Express Service" took over 2 hours. This morning, as I was preparing to take a long road trip and completed a visu done by Peninsula Subaru. Their "Express Service" took over 2 hours. This morning, as I was preparing to take a long road trip and completed a visual inspection of my car, I noticed oil on the undercarriage and a droplet of oil below the oil pan plug. On closer inspection, I discovered a puddle of oil on my garage floor. I checked the plug and discovered it was not even finger-tight. This could have led to a catastrophic failure of my engine if the oil level had gone too low while driving. This is completely unacceptable and incredibly poor service. Not the first time I received my car back in worse condition than when I brought it in (once the tires were very underinflated - less than when I brought the car in; and, another time they damaged one of my wheels, which had to be replaced). They have also recommended work that was not needed, as verified by another mechanic elsewhere. More

We have bought a number of Subarus from this dealership over the years. Our first was a Forester. Then we bought a used Tribeca for our daughter in law, a used Outback for our son, a new Outback for us, over the years. Our first was a Forester. Then we bought a used Tribeca for our daughter in law, a used Outback for our son, a new Outback for us, and now a gently used certified used Outback to replace our original Outback that had 167000 miles on it. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased Peninsula Subaru. We were treated with respect and a friendly atmosphere. Our last purchase of a new vehicle in 2010 at a dealership in King County made us feel like We were treated with respect and a friendly atmosphere.
