This is an update to a previously deleted positive review. When I had an opportunity to review our paperwork I realized we got swindled. Buyer beware! We were referred to the dealership as we needed review. When I had an opportunity to review our paperwork I realized we got swindled. Buyer beware! We were referred to the dealership as we needed to purchase 2 cars for our daughters who were turning 17. We are not savvy with the car buying process. Because of our ignorance and naivety, we ended up putting out a great deal of money for two lackluster deals. I’m a 28 year educator who was entitled to an educator discount, but despite filling out all the paperwork did not see where it was applied (we were told it came off the price of the cars but we saw no evidence of this and my colleagues who got substantial educator discounts had it as a line item reduction). There was a half-hearted attempt to correct this after we reviewed our paperwork and asked where the discount was applied, but it remains suspect. We accept responsibility for being trusting and believing we were in good hands, but we are decent, hardworking people. We are not confrontational people but sadly we will be sharing our experience so as to save others from similar treatment. I’m not sure where this all went wrong (which is why we are being respectful and not naming anyone) but it’s really unfortunate as many colleagues and friends have commented on and asked about the vehicles and we cannot in clear conscience recommend Pinebelt. It seems we presented as suckers and got treated as such. And responding for us to call is ludicrous since we already went over all of this with finance and it still makes no sense. Our salesman was good. We are aware this was bigger than him. More
