The most amazing car buying experience EVER!!!!! I will start by stating that Bill Sherman was an incredibly knowledgeable and professional salesmen and I knew I was in good hands. His enthusiasm is contagious and I got an excellent deal. I worked with Daryl on the financing and learned some things about credit that I did not know before. The whole experience was far above my expectations. I would recommend Bill and the Pine Belt team to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle. One more thing I always was under the impression that Japanese cars were superior to American but my own experience taught me that it is not necessarily true. I will now only drive a Chevrolet as I am a believer in American Ingenuity and also because of the superior customer service experience that Bill provided to me!! More

First I went to Lester Glenn on 37 in Toms river and I felt like I was getting stroked .Ok I knew I was upside down on my piece of crap 2015 Ford Escape but I hated the car and wanted OUT!!!.I called Jasmine Monday morning from Pinebelt and told her I was on my way and did not want to deal with the back and forth bullshit .I walked in and was Greeted by Wendy I believe her name was very nice women and very pleasant .The sales manager set me up with Ernesto Rodriguez right away I knew I was going to get out of that Escape he was not aggressive he let me look around the truck I had my heart set on well let's just say I was late for the party the guy next to me was buying that truck my heart sunk Ernesto said do not worry we will make it work so back outside I went. I found a beautiful brown 4 door Silverado with his help and the tall dark and handsome manager who was plugging in the numbers it worked .I drove off with my 50th birthday gift to me .I will be going to Dover race track on Oct 4th to see the race in my new truck never did I feel like I was being pressured into anything .THANK YOU PINEBELT I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!!! Bait and switch I was looking for a lease of Chevy Vault through my company's Employee purchase program and was contacted from the dealership. I spoke with Taylor on I was looking for a lease of Chevy Vault through my company's Employee purchase program and was contacted from the dealership. I spoke with Taylor on the phone and I explained what I was looking for. She told me they had one car they can show me and quoted me specific lease terms over the phone and was invited to test drive the car. I showed up at the dealership tested the car and agreed to lease it with the terms I was promised on the phone. All of the sudden the sales people started to play the game with me offering me lease options that had nothing to do with what I was told originally. I made a compromise and agreed to give money down towards the lease, but was told that I am nuts and they will never give me the car on those terms. Eventually it came down to a $10 a month difference. I walked away and they lost a sale on a car that is been phased out by the new and improved model coming out around November. If I wasn't promised the specific lease terms over the phone, I would've never even wasted 2 hours of my time. I work for a larger corporation and am very active in the green car forums. People come to me for advice and recommendations on green cars as I was early adopter of other electric cars. I will make sure that they proceed with caution if they want to deal with Pine Belt Chevy dealership. On another note Adam was nice, but left me to believe that he had no control over the sale. David was the one playing the number games and arguing with me, felt to be a little rude too. I do not like writing reviews, but found it amusing that the invitation email said the following "Congratulations...the hard part is over...you are about to have the best and most hassle free purchase experience ever!". Extraordinary Customer Service I have to be honest in saying that I have had some awful experiences with Chevy dealerships. Before going to Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood, I went to tw I have to be honest in saying that I have had some awful experiences with Chevy dealerships. Before going to Pine Belt Chevy in Lakewood, I went to two other dealerships - Action Chevy in Freehold and Oasis Chevy in Old Bridge. Action Chevy employed some of the nastiest and creepiest people I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I had the most horrific experience there with the employees and management on more than one occasion and would recommend for everyone to stay away from there like the plague. Oasis Chevy had a nice staff but I had the constant feeling I was being ripped off by the associates. It was uncomfortable and turned me off from owning a Chevy. However, this time my boyfriend was in the market for a new vehicle and was interested in the Chevy Trax. I was nervous for him knowing my experiences. We decided to go to Pine Belt because we were hoping there would be better customer service compared to the other places, and we couldn't have been more pleased with the experience!! When we first came in we were greeted by Pam who was such a joyous woman and made us feel welcome. She set us up with Renee as our sales associate and all we have to say is WOW! Those two ladies made the whole experience for us. Let me start by saying that we are a young couple in our mid twenties. It is common for couples our age to be taken advantage of at car dealerships and it is always recommended for us to go with our parents for support. We were not anticipating purchasing a vehicle knowing this fact, but we did want to get an idea for how much my boyfriend would need to save. Renee was amazing and is an unbelievable asset to this Chevy dealership. She was personable, kind, knowledgeable, and honest. I saw other sales representatives there trying to make hard sales and just seeming to have horrible attitudes, so we genuinely feel like we hit the lottery getting Renee. She worked with us and was able to get us an amazing deal on the exact car that my boyfriend had wanted - the Trax. She made sure that we left that dealership completely satisfied with the purchase and feeling so much less stressed! If I had gone to this Chevy dealership when I was in the market previously and had been helped by Renee, I more than likely would have left with a vehicle. The best part was when my boyfriend's parents came because they were all ready to negotiate with the sales person, and we were able to say that they didn't have to - that we were treated with respect and that Renee worked with all of our needs. His mother thanked Renee for "taking care of her son" before she left. It's just a great feeling to leave a dealership happy and without regret or concern. Thank you, Renee!! More
