these SCAM ARTISTS wasted our time. First off, they add a $1400 intake fee to cover some BS charges then they add MORE FEES: $350 for WINDOW ETCHING and $375 for KEY REPLACEMENT (even if you haven't lost k a $1400 intake fee to cover some BS charges then they add MORE FEES: $350 for WINDOW ETCHING and $375 for KEY REPLACEMENT (even if you haven't lost keys). We finally settled on a price and when we were about to do paperwork the TERRIBLE LYING MANAGER Jamie said it was going to be another $1500. No doubt trying to get more money out of us, thinking we wouldnt walk away. Not only did we leave, but the i've alerted the Better Business Bureau who are well aware of these terrible people. You've got to be from another planet to want to do business at planet honda. STAY AWAY! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!! DON'T BELIEVE ANY GOOD REVIEW OF THEM. More

Basically they promised an out the door price via email including all costs and when it came time to sign, after bringing the car from the other location, reneged on the deal and added $1500 to the cost. C including all costs and when it came time to sign, after bringing the car from the other location, reneged on the deal and added $1500 to the cost. Call it a bait and switch or "breaking our legs" in auto sales terms, it's what they did. I wouldn't trust an offer from them, even in writing. I should have believed others who warned me that this was their reputation. More
I started my search for a vehicle after my 12 year old Ford Explorer had become a maintenance burden. I went into Planet Honda on route 22 in Union with no intention on buying a car on that day, however I Ford Explorer had become a maintenance burden. I went into Planet Honda on route 22 in Union with no intention on buying a car on that day, however I was approached by Frank Talarico, the nicest, most honest, and knowledgable sales person that you would ever want to meet. He was kind enough to set me up for a test drive of the Honda CRV, a car i thought i wanted at the time, well to make a long story short, I brought the Honda CRV, drove it home on a Thursday, drove it for a few days and decided it wasn't the car for me. I texted Frank on that Sunday and told him i wanted to come back into the dealership Monday to change the car out for a Honda Ridgeline Sport trunk and he said sure come on in we'll see what we can do. This further confirmed to me what a great dealership Planet Honda is. They could have easily told me to go jump in a river. Their number one policy is Customer Service and this was a great showing of that customer service by allowing me to change the car out with no habitation. I went back into the dealership that Monday morning and Frank was waiting for me and he setup a test drive of the Honda Ridgeline Sport. I am completely satisfied now, driving around in my Honda Ridgeline Sport. I highly recommend Planet Honda in Union on router 22, ask for Frank Talarico, he is sure to treat you RIGHT! Thank You very much your customer Donnell Wright More

My experience at Planet Honda was very positive. His charismatic attitude allowed the duration of my visit to be exceedingly pleasant. In the future, I would undoubtedly purchase a vehicle from this dealership again. More
1. All dealers are "scammers" when it comes to sales and service 2. All mass produced cars have quality control issues 3. All cars are overpriced. I have yet to see a car that's perfect and sell sales and service 2. All mass produced cars have quality control issues 3. All cars are overpriced. I have yet to see a car that's perfect and sells for what its really worth 4. Car sales is business just like medicine, dentistry, insurance, real estate, electronics, etc. 5. Always read fine print and between the lines, ask a million questions, have 1-2 witnesses and a camera crew to record everything because dealer will do whatever dealer wants and there's nothing you can do as a consumer because you signed the contract. 6. Don't spend too much time with numbers and calculations and sit at sales desks. OTD price is all that matters. I read here how buyers got taken with etching and other things. Don't worry about it. Pay only what the car is worth or walk away. 7. Don't shop for cars when you're tired. Keeping all of the above in mind i dealt with a typical salesman who needed to make some money at a typical dealership. I paid part cash part financed. I came to look at the car a few times, walked away, then the salesman called several times and we agreed on the numbers and low % interest. When i arrived i paid to the cashier first and then went to the finance person to sign papers. Don't make this mistake. Read/sign first, then if everything looks good and clean get a copy and pay. Not a huge deal in my case because i could still get my cash back if something didn't look right on paper. As i read through i noticed a much higher interest rate. I threatened to get my attorney into the office and the interest rate went down to the previously agreed number. Considering the model/price and the time i spent at the dealership it wasn't as bad as for other buyers who had bad experience and very good compared to my previous new car purchase at Liccardi Chrysler, but thats a different story. I returned to this dealer several times to look at new cars but the construction is a mess and i'd like to try a different brand anyway so i'm not in the market for a honda. Its all what you make of your car buying experience. You paid for etching because you deserve it! You got ripped off because you allowed it! You got pressured or cursed at because you let them do it. GOOGLE is your best friend and don't pay a penny more than the car is worth. There are tons of other options. More
