I had a problem with an external MP3 device draining power from the car battery via the USB cable. The cause of this had to be searched out and the work took a week, but they found the problem and were power from the car battery via the USB cable. The purchase of my certified pre-owned Boxster GTS (18,000 miles) has been the most painful experience. In my 4 hour wait at the dealership, I've never waited that long to purchase a car, the dealership was hesitant to provide a 2nd can of Diet Coke.....REALLY! The certification was either not performed and signed off or was not performed to a very high standard......the car had bad spark plug(s) - service kept the car at least a week before they came up with diagnosis, repair and re-certification. The car has a bad battery I'm still trying to get replaced (the car is under warranty). I've been told I just don't drive it enough - I didn't know there was a required # of days a week I need to drive it - evidently weekends are not enough. They owe me the 2nd key, I've owned the car 6 months.....I've been told 3-4 times the key has been ordered but I haven't received it. (In fact I was told it was at the dealership but when we took the car in for spark plug issue, I was told my key had been given to someone else. I have a BMW and just got a new key....it took 2 days. I also have additional issues with what the dealership told me vs real life. SO, not sure if these problems are all dealership issues or combination of Porsche/Dealership. More
