This is truly one exceptional dealership that has both the best facility and the best staff. Walter's Porsche has trained their personnel to provide the customer with a user-centered experience, be it purchasing/leasing and/or the follow-up service process. My recent service experience was one of the best. I was greeted by Mycal Heffner who made me feel welcome and did the first part of the intake process since my service advisor Henry Quezada was busy with another client (I arrived early). Mycal helped me find an excellent space where I could work while I waited for the service to be completed. Then Henry took over the process and, kept me informed of the progress. The service was completed ahead of schedule, the car was returned to me exceptionally clean and I was given copies of the work order, and sent off with a very positive feeling. I couldn't I purchased my new 2018 Macan GTS from Tim Churchill at Porsche Riverside. It is my 3rd Porsche purchase from Tim and Porsche Riverside. I couldn't be happier with the service that Tim provides. He is available 24/7 for his clients. He was there for me every step of the way- from the numerous iterations of the build of the vehicle, to numerous test drives while I awaited delivery of my new Macan GTS, to selecting strategic demo vehicles for me to sample when I would bring my other Porsches in for service so I could be certain the Macan GTS would be best suited for my needs. Tim is extremely knowledgeable on not only Porsches but all vehicles. He is a true Car Guy. He always takes time for you. I make it a point to stop by to see him whenever I am at the dealership. Even when he knows I am not in the market for a new car- he always takes time to peruse the Porsche inventory with me and never makes me feel pressured to buy. I have shopped all the Porsche dealerships in the state and you will not find a better deal anywhere in the country - at another dealership or with a broker- on a new or used Porsche than you will find at Porsche Riverside and Tim Churchill. They followed up with me once an allocation was available and helped me through the spec process. During the waiting period, they kept me informed on the status of the build, without over doing it. Delivered the car to my home due to logistics, and walked me through all the details. No stress. Made the car buying experience a very pleasant one. I want to start off that I normally do not respond this long to feedback, but I feel like it's appropriate in this case. Actually I originally reached out to you via website build and was nicely greeted by Megan when she called me and scheduled an appt to see the car last Friday @ 8pm. Megan was super nice and I was pleasantly surprised that she called me within 1.5 hours of my inquiry via website. She stated that our appt was going to be with the store manager Ed. Having purchased many cars, I have always felt that dealing with the Manager was always the best way to work out a deal because of the typically "cars" salesman mentality. Upon arrival to the dealership the customer parking was clearly marked and there was plenty of parking this evening. We did arrive about 30mins early so I was concerned that you were not going to be available. A very nice gentlemen named Frank greeted us and asked how he could help us. I stated we had an appt with Ed at 8pm, but we were a little early. Frank stated that you had left for the day but Jeff the assist manager was working and would be able to help us out if need be. I started to feel like we got a bait and switch since I was hoping we were dealing with the manager and my past experiences with "salesmen". Jeff and I spoke a little bit while Frank went to pull up a car for us to test drive. I spoke to Jeff about why we come to Riverside to buy our cars and the level of customer service out there and the way people treat us was very important. He agreed that people have said the samething and that you have a lot of customers from OC as well as the LA area come to your dealership. I work in Newport Beach with a Porsche dealer 1 mile away from the office and stopped by a few nights prior and didn't even get greeted a hello. It was closer to 8pm, but the dealership was still open. As you can imagine, that area tends to cater to customers that are willing to drop $250K on a car and clearly we weren't that customer. We took a test drive with Frank and he explained the car and all the features and looked to see if there was anything in inventory that had the same specs we were looking for or if any cars were coming in with the specs I was looking for. Frank was so awesome and NEVER did I feel like he was feeding me a line, pushing me to buy something that was inventory, or wasting my time. He was super professional which I'm sure you already know, and he was just very customer focus and didn't have an alternate agenda by any means. We finally decided to build a car to my specs and he provided a price and quoted me the price of the car with the standard 2% discount on a build to spec. As you know everyone goes on the internet these days and so I've been looking on different Porsche forums and looked up what discount other buyers were getting on cars. As you know it varies from state to state and different markets. I was upfront with Frank and told him that I read that just last month a guy went to Pasadena and bought a 2018 Macan S and was able to get 8% off build. I told Frank let's match this same 8% and we have a deal. Frank went back and spoke to Jeff while we looked through his cool family binder and got to know more about him. He came back and told me the counteroffer was 6% and he could only do 8% on inventory cars. I understand this is always part of the process and the art of making a deal. In prior deals I've spent 30+ mins of going back and fourth which is what I did not want to happen and was worried this would go in that direction. I told him Pasadena did 8% and so he should be able to do the same. I told him I'll offer 7% as best and final. He came back shortly after and said we had a deal! I was shocked this didn't keep going back and fourth, but had it, we would have walked out. I want you to truly know that because Frank was such a friendly guy and didn't push me in anyway or give me the salesman lines, I agreed to the 7% even though I KNOW I could have gotten 8% whether it was from your dealership or Pasadena. The reason I didn't go out the gate with a higher rate like (10%), was because of the genuine person Frank is and your friendly team with Jeff and even Shawn that my fiance spoke to while we were there. I want you to know that because of the customer service experience we received, it was worth that 1% less and it goes to show you that customer service is a win win for everyone. Frank told us the car would arrive around 9/15. Low and behold he delivered and we picked up the car yesterday!! We love our new 2018 Macan S!! Frank is not only GREAT at what he does, but he's truly a genuine nice guy and not what you expect of a salesman let alone a Porsche dealership! Again, sorry for the lengthy e-mail, I just want you to know of what the FANTASTIC experience we had and the great team that's under your leadership. Thanks! -Jimmy & Heather- More
