I recently had a highly disappointing experience at Rallye Motors in Roslyn, and I felt compelled to share my thoughts and warn others about my encounter. The entire process was marred by unprofessionalism, poor customer service and questionable business practices by the service department. First and foremost the service advisor representative Stephen Augustine exhibited a complete lack of transparency as to what actually needed to be done to my vehicle. had originally came to Ralle Motors for a new glass roof which had been shattered. Stephen had informed me that I also needed a Service B maintenance which would not be covered and must come out of pocket. By no means did Stephen explain as to what this Service B meant and the lack of clarity. When I left my car I provided my contact information with Stephen and told him if he had any further questions to call me. Stephen then proceeded to go on with the services and spoke to my wife who did not drop off the car nor would be picking the car up. She was never present at the dealership and should have never been contacted by Stephen as she had no idea what was going on with her vehicle. Later on in the afternoon Stephen had called me and said that due to the glass roof being cracked they would be unable to pass the car through the car wash and would have to hand wash the car. I agreed that a handwash would be best for the car regardless of the crack. Fast forward to the next day, Stephen never contacted me telling me the vehicle is ready as once again he called my wife. When I got back to Rallye Motors with the glass NOT FIXED, because they said it was not covered my car was now a dust ball full of green pollen. The car was disgustingly dirty and left UNWASHED. This was not how I brought the car to the dealership and is completely unacceptable for Mercedes to return my vehicle like that too myself. I spoke to the supervisor at the time and all he had to offer was a complimentary car wash after the glass is fixed. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy was completely thrown out the window. The lack of transparency was alarming and left me with serious doubts about the integrity of the dealership. It is simply unacceptable for such a prestigious dealership and service department to treat their customers this way. DO BETTER MERCEDES, DO BETTER. I wouldn't even expect this from Nissan.. More
