Never take your car to Ricart Took my Mustang to Ricart for recall repairs and a issue with my headlights that would not turn off. I researched and found it's a roadside assistance program under a company called Keux. I never asked for this roadside assistance coverage to be added to my service cost. I know this is not a free product, because I checked with other dealers in the area who's charge for oil filter is $7 cheaper than Ricard and they offer Krux separately and openly. When I questioned the service manager on the 42.68 cost of a simple oil filter change, she said that $36.99 was Fords standard cost for an oil change, they don't set charges, its nationwide amount with all dealers. That was a lie, I checked with 2 other dealers, one in Illinois and one in Delaware OH, both quoted 29.95. Basically, the manager there refused to compensate me when I brought this to her attention and she escalated the situation by not being honest with me, or at the least making it right by compensating me for the hidden overcharge, hence frustrating me further. After I left, they called me on my cell, cancelled a future service appointment I had and said I am not welcome back because of my behavior in front of their customers. I guess they did not like getting called out on their xx lies and hidden charges in public. Where I come from (Chicago) we call people and service providers out on their xx. I do not apologize for getting upset and I would like to see them stop doing this to other consumers, it's crap. I bet that $7 profit on every oil change adds up! Honestly, I won't ever go back there, it's not about the $7, it's about the dishonesty. Makes you wonder what other lies they are hiding. Funny thing is, to extend the xx, they gave me a paper after I finally paid the full charge, about the roadside coverage for 6 months and said it's free and included as part of their oil changes, even shows a separate line of 0 charge on my invoice, lol! And lastly, we purchased a 40k vehicle here 7 months months ago, wish I could have gone to Byers in Delaware instead for my purchase, service there is honest and better. More

"Worst service I've ever been subjected to" My name is David B Hannah and I own a Lincoln MKZ 2010. I took my car to the Ricart Automotive Group on South Hamilton Road Columbus Ohio 43227. The r My name is David B Hannah and I own a Lincoln MKZ 2010. I took my car to the Ricart Automotive Group on South Hamilton Road Columbus Ohio 43227. The reason I took my car to Ricart Service Department was, as I start breaking my car would pull to the left. While not braking the car drives straight. And there was a few other issues that I was having looked at. I.e. a fog light not working, wiper switch wasn't operating correctly and a few other cosmetic issues. All of the minor things they were able to give me a correct assessment and estimate and a few of them I had repaired without incident. As for the pulling to the left Jonathan Cutler their mechanic license number 9141 told me that it was the passenger side brake caliper and possibly a hose that the brake fluid runs through and advised me to get it repaired and it would fix the problem. I agreed to the repairs the repairs were done and then Jonathan States on my receipt that he replace the caliber and the holes and test drove my car and that everything was fine. He states that it no longer pulled to the left during braking. As I pick up my car and was leaving their parking lot and applied the brakes before going over a speed bump my car pulled to the left. I immediately called the service department, Brad was the associate that helped me in the service department. Once on the phone with Brad I had Brad transfer me over to Angie which is the head of the service department. Once on the phone with Angie I expressed my disgust with their service department and how unsafe it was for them to give me a vehicle back in the same manner that I gave it to them but charged me $418. And the only reason it was that cheap is because my warranty company payed the rest. Angie set up for me to come back in that following Monday to drop my car off. I dropped my car off monday morning and monday afternoon the service department calls me back and explain that they found a few other issues with the vehicles suspension and that they were going to start replacing some of the items they thought it was. After replacing the upper control arm bushing, the passenger outer tire rod end, swapped breakes and rotors from side to side and realined my car three times..... the service supervisor called me with two options.. I could either come get my car in the same condition I took it to them for and they would refund me my money. Or I could agree to allow them to swap out parts until they found the issue. I didn't take my car to them for a guess job, I took my car to them for a professional assessment and a safe and reliable repair. Now, I'm scheduled to drop it off to the Lincoln dealer. I have written proof of everything I've stated and swear it to be true. It states at the end of my receipt that the only thing that can be done now is a park elimination Diagnostics. It says that all normal means of diagnosis have been expended. This is absolutely the worst service I have ever received. I will never take any of my vehicles Ricart. Lastly, when I picked my car up it still has oil smudges all around the hood the outside of the door, on my door panel on the inside and the car now feels like it's pulling worse then it was before I took it in. And it even sounds different. I don't feel safe and will not drive it until it goes back in the shop. Lord help anyone who puts their life and the life of their loved ones in the hands of the Ricart Service Department under the supervision of Angie Lutz. More
