We worked with George and Liam and they were both so excellent in addressing our needs regarding the best way to deal with returning a leased car and leasing a new car, receiving the best value. Not only were they both efficient and professional, they were warm, engaging, friendly, relaxed, upbeat. Our experience with Nancy in Finance was just as pleasant and satisfying... She also was very efficient, and very warm and engaging. We had a great conversation while filling out forms and signatures. What stood out to me was the fact that everyone we dealt with were happy to be there, and eager to serve us. That was the vibe, it definitely felt like a 'family' of staff. Kudos to you . Competence, and honesty When they say they inspect your vehicle every time it's brought in for service, they mean just that. Last year, the night before I brought my Prius in for service, there was a sweet yet alien aroma in it. Couldn't figure out what it was, thought it was from a bakery I passed, but it persisted. I really didn't think much of it, until the service advisor came out, and said "Your water pump is just beginning to go. You can drive it for a while, or we can replace it for you. " Having broken down many years ago on the New York State Thruway with a broken water pump, it was no contest. The water pump was replaced, that visit. This past visit, I was informed that a nail had been found in my tire, and that there would be a fee for dismounting the tire, welding in a patch, rebalancing, etc. I okayed expending the money. What happened? Turns out the nail (actually, a small screw) was lodged in the tread, and hadn't penetrated the tire's carcass. Result? No charge for the removal of the offending object. Honesty, as depicted by both of these incidents, are why I continue to have my Prius serviced by this dealership. Notably, even through a change in ownership, the competence and honesty of the service department has changed not one bit. That is key. This is what an automobile dealership is supposed to be like. I write almost no online reviews, and I have no connection to or interest in Rivera Toyota - in fact, I live outside NY State. I'm writing because treatment like this from a dealer is rare (I kind of wonder if Mariano's class is setting the tone for tis biz...), and I'm happy to let others know that this is a dealer - and a salesperson - worth seeking out.
