Horrible experience. I drove from Appleton to Middleton to test drive a specific type of car. I was made an offer. I explained it wasn't within my budget. I was made another lower offer and all the numbers it included. I asked to make a phone call and the sales person, Charlie, stepped out for a moment. He came back into the office and I said I accepted that lower offer. So Charlie responds I can't offer that to you anymore and will have to go back to the original offer, which was obviously higher. Now he says that he made the offer without the owner's approval. Maybe I wouldn't have been so upset if he was a new employee, but Charlie said he worked for this dealership for 8 years. Yes, that's right, 8 years. Car salesmen have the reputation of being slick, unethical, and unscrupulous. Guess he lived up to that! More
