Ste toyota Prius Prime 2025 . We originally spoke with steve and thought about what we wanted to do and went back the next day to purchase a vehicle. Steve was out so Lou helped us. It was so easy (so smooth) and impressed me and my husband when steve called to congratulate us and the two of them worked together to finish the sale! Both of them were just amazing ! More

I couldn’t be happier with my car used buying experience from Smithtown Toyota. Sean M was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was friendly, professional, and never pushy. He really listened to what I was from Smithtown Toyota. Sean M was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was friendly, professional, and never pushy. He really listened to what I was looking for and made the entire process simple and comfortable. Rocky D in finance was just as outstanding. I appreciated that he didn’t try to push unnecessary warranties or add-ons, and instead focused on finding me the best deal possible. He actually secured me a loan rate that was 1 point lower than what my own bank offered, which was such a pleasant surprise. Thanks to Sean and Rocky, this was by far the smoothest and most stress free car purchase My Wife and I ever made. I left confident in my decision and grateful for the excellent service. I highly recommend this team—you’ll be in great hands! More

The dealership has a pretty good selection of cars at reasonable prices. However, the place does feel a little bit sketchy and shady. I worked with Sean Miller in the used sales department. He seemed reasonable prices. However, the place does feel a little bit sketchy and shady. I worked with Sean Miller in the used sales department. He seemed quite enthusiastic and helpful during both our first and second visits, and he let us test-drive the car twice with two drivers. However, during the test drive, he was kind of rushing us — sending several messages and making 2 or 3 phone calls to me while driving. When it came to numbers, we had worked something out and were planning to return to check out the vehicle again and likely pick it up — we just needed another driver with us, so we came a second time. But when we returned, Sean acted as if we hadn’t negotiated anything. He made it seem like we were making up the number — a number that came literally word-for-word from his own mouth, as well as his manager’s. Then he put on a full-blown performance in front of the buyer (my dad). It didn’t take long for him to pierce through his mask. We repeated the exact same number he gave us a couple of days prior, and suddenly he says, “You got the wrong manager,” and “I never said that.” He then calls his manager and goes, “I got these good people here, and I really wanted to help them. Can we give it to them for $500 off?” — as if he was doing us a favor. He basically made us renegotiate, this time for a higher price than what we were originally told — even though the market value had dropped over $1,500, including on their own website. Then came one of the most bizarre moments: he raises his voice and says, “It can’t always be about YOU YOU YOU,” in a loud and aggressive manner. He even said we shouldn’t be negotiating over a few hundred dollars because we have high-paying jobs. If it were truly all about us, we would’ve asked for the truck at half price. On top of all that, he lied about the truck and some of its features. Sure, maybe he didn’t know everything, but if you’re going to sell a vehicle, at least learn the facts instead of making things up just to close the sale. He claimed the truck had just come in — but when I checked literally a few minutes later, I found out it had been sitting on the lot for nearly three and a half months. This is definitely a negative review, primarily focused on the shadiness and lack of manners or customer service skills in the used department. You’re trying to sell US CARS, not earn OSCARS — so quit the act. Ironically, the online reps do a much better job and are actually timely and respectful. Do yourself a favor and work with another dealership. Save yourself the frustration and avoid the shady business going on here. More
