I found Smythe Volvo on Google and called Steven. Within 30 minutes, we made a deal for the same price that the other dealerships essentially laughed at. The process was easy, quick, and straightforward. I appreciate Steven and Jay’s help in making the car purchase enjoyable. Jay patiently reviewed the car with me, answering all my questions and neither of them hesitated to go above and beyond. If anyone is out shopping for a Volvo I suggest giving these guys a shot. Met with Stacey and left a deposit for Volvo XC60 was at another dealer in Maryland. Stacey said he would call me the next day when he connected with the dealer in Maryland that had the car. Two days went b another dealer in Maryland. Stacey said he would call me the next day when he connected with the dealer in Maryland that had the car. Two days went by and I called Stacey having not heard back from him. He didn't recall our discussions and started to say he was still searching for a car. I reminded him that he said he was working on getting a car in from a dealership in Maryland. He then said that he would check and get back to me the next day. Again two days passed and I didn't get a call so I stopped in and learned the car in Maryland was no longer available but Stacey would continue to search and get back to me. I waited another day but due to the lack of follow up we decided to not continue with getting a Volvo. We spoke with the Sales Manager and are now waiting for our deposit from July 14th to be credited. This was a very disappointing experience. I have owned 3 Volvos and purchased the last 2 from wonderful salesmen as Smythe who unfortunately are no longer working in sales. More
