How to buy a vehicle in Ten minutes I was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle, which I found at Smythe Volvo. I'd spoke to T. Rzasa over the phone and made arrangement to see the car. I was in the market for a pre-owned vehicle, which I found at Smythe Volvo. I'd spoke to T. Rzasa over the phone and made arrangement to see the car. The car was as advertised, great condition/great price. No bait and switch. I then made a follow-up appointment to purchase the car. Upon arrival the car was detailed and all paperwork was prefilled and ready. There weren't any surprises. No haggling or pressure to purchase additional services. I walked through the front door, signed a few documents, then out through the side door to the parking lot where my new vehicle was waiting. All in about 10 minutes. Simple and easy. Throughout the process, T. Rzasa was extremely professional. Weather it was on the phone, via email or in person, he was courteous and respectful. During the road test Mr. Rzasa was friendly and engaging. We converse like we were old friends. He explained the car buying process and kept me informed throughout. They were both knowledgeable and courteous with the process of leasing. This is my second Volvo and love the vehicle's performance, exterior look, and safety. Mr. Melquist gives timely replies with his email while Mr. Rzasa makes periodic emails and follow up pertaining to my vehicle. Service (Travis L.) and Sales Department were both fast, reliable service, accommodating, and structured. It is a family oriented dealership and makes truthful suggestions/answers with the lease quotes. My sibling and I were both comfortable with their excellent customer service. I did not feel pressure or obliged during the process of leasing and returned vehicle. The new location is nice, relaxing, and comfy. I love the upper level showroom of the vintage Volvos. The quality of these cars and the service provided by the Smythe team is proven by the fact that two of our wagons broke the 250,000 mile mark before being replaced. Two wagons that I used ferrying around our sons ended up being their first cars. All but two wagons were purchased new and exceeded expectations. The two used vehicles were prior Smythe sold and serviced cars and exceeded expectations as well. Smythe Volvo is a great family dealership that has taken care of our family's vehicle and service needs. I recommend them most highly without reservation. More

He made several errors on the business end of things, the most egregious being that he created a second identity for me at the NJ DMV. He misspelled my name as Cassie instead if Carrie when registering the car and proceeded to try to blame it on the DMV and it's notorious incompetence which I can now attest is rivaled only by his own. Four trips to the DMV later, and only Newark Paterson and Trenton provide the investigative units necessary to explore my double, fraudulent identity in the system. Worse than the initial costly and painful carelessness in the Dealership's refusal to do anything to correct or make up for the mistake. Several phone calls have gone in returned. The indifference and lack of pride in their service is the topper to all of this. More
