Smythe Volvo has been my car dealer since 1978. The service department is a major factor for my loyalty. My 2004' S 80 has 124,000 miles and rides very well for the age of the car. My last contact was a short time ago when I was concerned about a possible transmission problem. Service Manager Nick Pavano handled my problem and concern tactfully and assured me that my concern was not an issue of any magnitude. What a relief !!! Thanks Mr. Pavano and Smythe service. More
Although this was not a regularly-scheduled service, I brought my 2012 S60 in due to a concern about the front-wheel drive. During one of the many snows, I was stuck in icy slush, and it appeared that bo brought my 2012 S60 in due to a concern about the front-wheel drive. During one of the many snows, I was stuck in icy slush, and it appeared that both front tires were not turning in unison. Nick was patient, courteous, understanding and professional. After the car was checked out, he was prompt in explaining to me that there was nothing amiss -- both tires were working in unison. In addition, he suggested a front-wheel alignment due to the fact that the steering wheel did not align properly. He asked if I had perhaps hit a pothold, which, indeed, I had. This was over and above the reason for the service visit, and I was very appreciative to Nick for the attention to detail. Thank you, again, Smythe Volvo!!! More

We weren't necessarily planning to purchase a vehicle that day. However, the immediate feeling we got from the first interaction at Smythe was so much nicer than the normal dealership. Generally the whole car buying experience is stressful and time consuming. This was not. We were able to speak honestly and not feel pressured, while at the same time received the car we wanted at a reasonable cost. We were not "nickle and dimed" and we actually felt that the staff cared about us and our family. We would definitely recommend this dealer and the Volvo in general. More

Craig hes helped me in 2013 to to find the right Volvo vehicle, namely a XC60 R-Design. After finding out details about the possibility of an Expat delivery (part of the European delivery program), he hel vehicle, namely a XC60 R-Design. After finding out details about the possibility of an Expat delivery (part of the European delivery program), he helped to find out the details with Volvo North America and got the process started. We quickly got the ordering done, he followed up with a finance offer quickly and kept me up to date about the delivery process. As delivery took longer than anticipated, he kindly arranged for a loaner car to bridge the time until delivery. I was very pleased with the level of service and commitment as well as the car itseld and would recommend both Smythe Volvo and Craig. More
I had an appointment on Friday 2/28/14 for a 60,000 mile servicing. I wanted to wait while the work was done. When the technician found other issues that needed to be addressed, I was brought into the ser servicing. I wanted to wait while the work was done. When the technician found other issues that needed to be addressed, I was brought into the service area by Ryan and was shown what was wrong. He let me know whether the work needed to be done that day for safety reasons or whether it could wait until the next servicing. We have had many Volvos over the years and I would not consider going anywhere else to have it serviced. More
