Took 2 months in the shop for them to inform me that the part needed for my car was on back order and the rental I was given was only covered for 17 days. I had to cover the other 43 days and Hyundai corpor part needed for my car was on back order and the rental I was given was only covered for 17 days. First off, our Genesis sales rep JC was amazing and a pleasure to deal with. He walked us through the experience of purchasing our first Genesis vehicle this past weekend. Second, we drove from the central coast just to come here because the selection of vehicles was definitely a step up compared to all the other dealers closer to us (Westlake, Glendale, etc). South Bay Genesis has way more cars than all the other dealers which allowed us to have several options to choose from. And lastly, the people here were all personable, accommodating and just overall nice people to work with. We coordinated with Alejandra prior to coming down and she was also great in following up with me and helping us get the deal we had wanted prior to our trip down south to the dealership. All in all, the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic and we drove out of there with a new 2022 G70! We had several cars in mind that we had researched prior to traveling down to South Bay, and JC happily took us around the lot, took us for the test drive, and offered to get keys (and even find the cars on the secondary lot!) and show us all the cars we had wanted to see before narrowing down our choice to the one we purchased (we had like 4-5 in mind). We had been by the Westlake dealership since it's the closest to us and the general atmosphere was not pleasant nor welcoming and we knew we definitely were NOT going to buy from there. The sales rep we met with at Westlake couldn't have been less interested in helping us. The purchasing experience went pretty easy and painless, just long. Obviously these things take time, as expected, we're not new to purchasing cars lol! But other than that, it all went pretty well and we wrapped up the purchase as very happy customers! JC then took the time to set up all my vehicle's features, the app and walk me through driving the vehicle as I was new to the Genesis brand (coming from the Kia brand) so it was super helpful in that respect. I am so happy with our decision to head down to South Bay Genesis as we got the car we wanted, the professionalism and family hospitality we hoped for, and the overall experience was what sold us. We'll be sending anyone and everyone their way for a genesis purchase! More
