I bought a new 2012 dodge laramie on 7/23/12 I went to another dealer first. I had a trade in qoute from edmonds.com and a firm price offer on a simaler laramie. I then checked on web called south oak dodge and asked them to met or beat the deal.I spoke with Cindy who said she could & would,I asked her again please do not waist my time if she could not beat my price.I told her I was coming from quite a distance. She told me to come in and they would make it worth my while. I did where I met Leo Estrada I'm 58 years old and I have bought many vehicles in my life. I have never had a more pleasurable & time saving experiance as this. Leo was extremely pleasasnt & knowledgable. I was in & out in about 2hrs. with a new vehicle and the price I wanted.I will recomend everyone & anyone I now to southoak dodge & to leo Estrada.Leo also took time to sync my wifes & my phones. A few days ago I went in to my local South Oak Dodge dealer to hopefully trade in my 2006 Jeep Liberty. I was hesitant because of my previous negative experiences with the service department, but decid dealer to hopefully trade in my 2006 Jeep Liberty. I was hesitant because of my previous negative experiences with the service department, but decided to try it anyway. My mother recently purchased her second Jeep Liberty from there and her faith was slightly renewed. Rene Levy promptly returned my calls to set up an appointment and was very thorough. He listened and made note of exactly what I was looking for. Although they had to sacrifice their "holdback" he went the extra mile to get a 2012 Liberty from Orland with all the bells and whistles I wanted. Even better still, he stayed within my price range with no last minute tricks or surprises. My faith too has been renewed. I love my new Jeep and look forward to no more defects, and few if any major repairs (with proper maintenance of course). I left with a smile on my face and recommend that others visit them, particularly women who want to be treated fairly. Good job and I do appreciate you Rene! More

My experience with South Oak Dodge was good in reference to the friendless of the employees. Scott Chenoweth and Lisa were very friendly and a pleasure to work with. When I came to the dealer, I didnt realize that the lower sticker price that includes 3 incentives was criteria which most of us do not meet. It was my fault for not looking closely at the small lettering and I'm not blaming South Oak. But, I know when I looked on line, that lower price for the 2012 Challenger for $25,800 is what lured me in. I do know what to look for next time... I think dealerships should only list the higher price bolded and list the lower price with incentives in small lettering. I was angry about it at first, but I love the car and I went ahead with the purchase any way. So, my fault for not reading the fine print. I am dissapointed with the trade in value I received on my 2011 Kia Sorrento. Blue Book listed it at 21,000 and South Oak only gave us 18,000. So, with thinking initially the price of the car was $25,800; and I would at the least receive at least 19,000 for trade in, I didnt plan on putting money down to be able to afford the payments. So, when the sale is almost complete, the car is $30,000; I only get $18,000 for my trade which put me in a situation I couldnt afford unless I gave $1,000 down. All I wanted really was to keep my payments under $400 without a down payment. But, I went ahead with the sale anyway. I think we could have received at least $19,000 for our trade. The suv was in good condition, no accidents and not that many miles. I will say though that Lisa did find interest rates for me a little lower, which I did apprecitate bringing my payments to $416.00. Scott also worked with me in getting another $1,000. So, I thought about it some more, and I think overall, South Oak is good dealership. They did try to work with me getting money knocked off here and there. Just not happy with trade in. That extra $1,000 could have really helped me. More

I had spoken via email with South Oak Dodge but had not visited due to the distance from my house. On Saturday morning Shanon called me again and I decided to finally drive the hour to see if they could get CLOSE to what I wanted. when I arrived Shannon introduced me to Al who listened to my situation and found 2 vehicles that he thought we could work with. During the test drive I knew I had found the perfect vehicle for my needs but was apprehensive about the cost. Once inside Al listened to my situation and came to me with an offer that I just could not believe! Every secret wish I had made in the months of searching was taken care of in one conversation, no running back and forth and no more haggling. I have the vehicle I have wanted for years at a price that I never imagined I could get. I will never work with another dealership again. Thank you Al and Shannon! More
