My salesman was great and was such a nice guy but the finance department was awful! I bought my first brand new car from southern team Subaru, first red flag the vehicle was priced $2,000 more than MSRP, finance department was awful! I bought my first brand new car from southern team Subaru, first red flag the vehicle was priced $2,000 more than MSRP, which I understand new vehicles are high in demand but they would not negotiate what so ever. I wouldn’t of bought from them if I wasn’t desperate for a vehicle at the time. Along with the car being overpriced they add a protection package (that you can’t have removed) and charge $1000+ for that, in the end I ended up having to finance $34000 for a car priced by the factory at $27000. I brought the car back 3 weeks after purchasing with only 2,000 miles and wanted to trade for something with more ground clearance and they could only offer me $23,000 for the car because it was now “used” Southern Team Automall RUINED my first new car purchase I will not be doing any other business with them other than upkeep on the car due to the warranty agreement. More

I used to love First Team, but new ownership has changed things and they are not good. I showed up on time for my appointment for an inspection and waited over an hour to finally ask how long it would be. I things and they are not good. I showed up on time for my appointment for an inspection and waited over an hour to finally ask how long it would be. I was told it was next in line to go into the shop. I was flabbergasted!! My time is valuable and this was a waste. I was offered the option of taking my car and going home and rescheduling. I said no thank you, but please understand how frustrating it is to have an appointment and have my time wasted. I was then told that the appointment time is only to be “allowed” to check my car in to the service station; the rest was whenever the technicians were available. Are you serious? An hour and 40 minutes later (and no car wash), it was ready. They also claimed I needed new wiper blades, but when I stated they were replaced at my last oil change 2 months prior, I was told I must have been lied to (by the same dealership), and then my wipers were brought to me with 2” on each end torn off and flapping. Hilarious. I had just washed my windshield on my way there and would have noticed. I may not return for the routine maintenance I have kept on the car I bought there brand new 5 years ago. Terrible new management. Also, everyone looked sloppy and unprofessional, which was never the case previously. 4 of our family cars have been purchased at First Team; Southern Team will likely not get our future business. More
