I had been in the market for the new Hyundai Ioniq 5. Since the vehicle was in high demand, it was hard to find one available in the local area that had the exact features and color that I wanted. After scouring the Hyundai inventory online, I came across one at Stamford Hyundai. The inventory showed that it would be arriving in 3 weeks. I immediately reached out to Stamford Hyundai and was lucky enough to be connected to Hensley. He took down my information, took a deposit, and told me exactly what to expect. He quoted me what the approximate out the door price would be so there wouldn’t be any surprises. He sent me a link for the credit application and we got the ball rolling. During the 3 week wait, Hensley was very proactive to keep me updated about the approximate delivery date. Once the vehicle was at the lot, he charged it and immediately set it up for a pre-delivery inspection so the car would be ready for me. I took an hour long Uber from NJ to CT to pickup the car when it was ready. Hensley had all the paperwork setup and ready to go so my time at the dealership was very brief and the process was smooth. Hensley went above and beyond to make the experience as smooth as possible. I met with Michael in finance to handle the loan. Michael was very candid about all the different options available and thoroughly explained every step of the way. Although, ultimately I would prefer to be able to just purchase/order my car online in 5 minutes (similar to the Tesla buying process), the experience I had at Stamford Hyundai is the best I’ve had at a traditional car dealership. In just 2 days of ownership of the Ioniq 5, several of my friends have expressed interest in purchasing the vehicle and I’m sending them to Stamford Hyundai despite being an hour away from where we live. Great job!!! More
