Crash course in excellence I bought a 2012 Nissan Juke from Street VW in October after seeing Chris Scott post the car on Facebook marketplace. I had a excellent experience with I bought a 2012 Nissan Juke from Street VW in October after seeing Chris Scott post the car on Facebook marketplace. I had a excellent experience with Street VW as a whole in the purchase of the Juke and the car itself was GREAT! I loved it. Not even 45 days later, a lady blew through a stop sign and t-boned me at 50 mph right in the driver’s side door. She didn’t even hit the brakes. I walked away from the crash with just a few bruises (amazingly enough) and no car, as it was declared a total loss. As soon as I had word on the total loss, I texted Chris to see if there was another Juke on the lot. What happened after sending him the text is where I have to say that there’s really no contest- Chris and Street VW have earned my loyalty as a consumer, beyond the shadow of a doubt. 1. Chris remembered exactly who I was and responded right away- He wasn’t even at the dealership! He was at home with his family and he still took the time to check out what was on the lot and got back to me straightaway. 2. He told me that he had a car that I might like- not a Juke, but he convinced me to come take a look at it. 3. EVERYONE at the dealership remembered me and greeted me by name- that’s kind of neat considering how much traffic they get from potential buyers. Chris remembered what my job was, my son’s name, along with all the smaller details from months ago- that’s the absolute definition of investing in a customer. 4. I had several of the people who had handled my financing and papers from the Juke come out of their offices after hearing about my wreck to see how I was doing. I wasn’t expecting them to personally speak to me and that made an impression on me. 5. I didn’t want anything but a Juke, but Chris managed to pick out the perfect car for me- a 2013 VW Tiguan. I was bitter about losing my Juke but he said, and I quote: “I know what you like. You’re going to like this and it has an even better safety rating than the Juke. Let’s take it for a drive.” 6. He was right. It’s perfect. I couldn’t find anything not to like about it. I signed the papers on it the same day. It’s almost ridiculous how easy this whole process has been from beginning to end. In my last review I mentioned how for me, the scariest part of purchasing a car is having to navigate questionable salesmen, reading the fine print and then ploughing through the financing. It’s not an issue at Street VW. In the two major purchases I have made with them, i have felt comfortable and informed all throughout the process. They’re there to do their jobs. And the impression that I have after going through this process twice is that they just want to make sure you get the vehicle that’s good for you and your needs. That’s refreshing to experience after so many fast-talking salesmen. I just can’t recommend this place enough- for service, good employees, great management and really nice vehicles. It’s a well-run establishment that I very much hope gets the recognition it deserves from VW headquarters. More
