I worked with Chris Thom from beginning to end. He answered all my questions about the Costco auto program which they participate in, helped me build my custom Crosstrek, and placed the order. I had the pleasure to purchase my 2023 Subaru Forester Wilderness with Kyler Schmied early Jan 2023. Prior to that, one morning in Nov 2022, I was on the way from doctor's office driving on highway 303, a Wilderness with Kyler Schmied early Jan 2023. Prior to that, one morning in Nov 2022, I was on the way from doctor's office driving on highway 303, and decided to make a quick stop at the Subaru Superstore of Surprise. That's the time when I met with Kyler we had our first conversation. My intention was to find out about the new 2023 Forester Wilderness in terms of its off-road capabilities, size, fuel efficiency and comfort as comparing with the new Toyota Rav4 hybrid, my next option. In my spare time, I'm landscape photographer and I like to explore the beautiful Arizona desert that prompted me to shop for vehicle with extra off-road capabilities. Kyler went through details of the car and answered all my questions with detailed technical accuracy, then offered me MSRP price, no negotiations, short delivery, and gave me plenty of time to think about it before making my final decision. Two weeks after, I called him again for a second meeting where I signed purchase contract, easy and ho hassle, no deposit required, and in less than a month I was driving out my new Forester. The main reason I would recommend Kyler is because he doesn’t' just sell cars, he is driven by a genuine passion of cars, and possesses expertise and deep knowledge on the subject that build up a trust and confidence in the purchase. Kyler is not only friendly, but very professional, super knowledgeable and experienced as he is himself does off-road driving. Being an engineer, I highly value talking to people who are professionals like Kyler who is an expert with hands-on experience and deep knowledge on the subject to answer all question in detail which commands confidence and trust in the purchase. He doesn’t ask too many questions but rather answers all your questions. I enjoy driving my Subaru Forester a lot going places only few can access. Here is picture from my recent January trip to Sedona AZ early morning after snow storm. I arrived to the trailhead early in the mooring in total darkness about one hour before sunrise, and nobody else was there. I switch to X-Mode "Deep snow and mud" to get better traction on the steep, winding road covered with morning ice and a fresh layer of snow. The Forester gracefully took me down the hill with full control, and no sign of losing traction on such a slippery road. More
